I thought I would add a positive review since I went there today and the shopkeeper did offer both the woman before me a bag (who had 6ish books) and myself a bag (who was buying one small workbook), and it was a sunny day, and I already had a courier bag so didn't look like someone who was desperately in need of a bag. Other than that, the shop seems like it has a lot of wares, was responsive when emailed to ask if they carried what I was looking for. The only negative that I could say is that the shop is quite cramped, but I would not expect that to be a problem since I doubt you will find a crowd in here.

They always have the latest current textbooks and workbooks that teachers use in their classrooms. Today I phoned and learned they do have the latest Science 10 textbook and workbook that is now mandated across BC for grade 10 students. Their prices are higher than those at Western Campus Resources. However, the convenience of picking up these needed texts and workbooks on the same day makes up for the high mark-up. ABC also have related workbooks and learning activities for all ages that make this a good store for caring grandparents and parents wanting to enhance/make more fun their children's education.
