Based on experiences with other builders, we worried that we would have to keep things that way for a long time. They started the day they said they would, and they were here 8 to 12 hours a day, six days a week, until the job was done. The workmanship is top quality. Part of the project was to remove a damaged popcorn ceiling in the bathroom. The finished ceiling is perfect. Jovann did some minor drywall repairs in another part of the house where a crack had developed and where there was some old water damage. We expected that because the paint had been there a while, that you would be able to see where the repair is. You cannot, even if you know where to look. Jovann is easy to work with and has a good eye for aesthetics. He is resourceful and has someone who can do a great job with whatever is needed: HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, sheet metal, electrical, roofing, etc. We subsequently had JL Painting and Drywall finish some space in an outbuilding, and the workmanship again exceeded expectations.

They laid tarps on all the floors, explained what they were going to do and set my mind at ease. Their kindness and patience with me was very much appreciated. Aside from this, their painting was beautiful and professional. Pictures were taken of the area to be painted. They moved what needed to be moved then returned to the same place according to their photo. Nothing broken and all handled with gentle respect. Everyday before they left, it was total cleanup. Leaving my home livable until they returned the next morning. I can't say enough good things about my experience and how easy it turned out to be. Greg and Chris did outstanding work throughout the painting process. They took a great deal of care in removing the cabinet doors and drawer faces and moving them outside for sanding and painting. They paid a lot of attention in keeping the dust to a minimum while working on the frames inside the kitchen and keeping the work area in general neat and orderly. We are very impressed with the quality of the finish on the cabinets. They really do look like new with a factory pain job. Excellent quality work.
