I'm disappointed. The matt behind my golden retriever's right ear was the main reason I took her to a groomer in the first place. I was having difficulties getting rid of it myself and figured that they would have the expertise and tools that I don't have to be able to get it. The matt is still there, and her ear looks like this now (picture uploading). Also, they only trimmed 3 of her paws. The left back paw has not been trimmed (see pic). And she was there for 5 and a half hours. They had plenty of time to make sure all 4 feet were done. What they did do well was her bath and brushing out her undercoat. I'm very happy with that part. However, getting rid of the matt behind her ear was 80-90% of the reason why I took her to a professional groomer to begin with. read more

Took our 2 small dogs to an appointment at this groomer at 11. 4 hours later, and they had not even started on them. 7 hours after we dropped them off they were finally finished. I do not recommend this groomer to dogs with small bladders or anxiety issues. read more

First of all I do not live here permanently so I was skeptical at first when I brought my Maltese Pupplette to her shop. You walk into a shop that has NO frills and Karen has somewhat of an unorganized desk. But do not let that discourage you - her doggie tools are exceptional. Because I live in Texas and we do not show Pupplette (although he does come from blue blood) we keep him cut short - somewhat of a Chinese Cresent cut. Karen looked in her Bible (dog book) and made sure she had the right shears and exactly which razor to use. When I picked up Pupplette I was so happy - he had a perfect cut - even better than he gets in Houston at exorbitant prices. I spoke to Karen for quite a while and learned some interesting things about her. In her younger days she placed second at a Westminster Dog competition with her Boxer (it was her first competition). Since then she has showed many breeds. She does not compete any longer but shows her Iove through our furry babies by keeping them looking amazing.
