This is one of those older malls that is very close to becoming obsolete. There are lots of empty shops and formerly occupied spaces that are dark and barred or gated, etc. There are still some good things in here and/or some more popular spots to shop at, such as Dillards, Bath & Body Works, Hibbett Sports, and some other familiar places. Overall, this mall is definitely not impressive by any means, but you may be able to find what you're looking for if you're just looking for standard clothing or things you may find in any given mall across the country. Also, the food court is mediocre at best - just some random spots that I don't think exist anywhere else. Overall, I'm sure you can find something at one of the larger standard department stores or what have you, but it's looking kind of sad, to be honest. read more

Need more shoe spots to shop at. Mississippi need some exciting malls to shop at. I would rate it a 4

I have been to Uptown Meridian at least 8 times since late 2021. All Malls across America are struggling to keep national tenants who are focusing more on their online business. This mall has Dillards, Belk, and a number of other stores. It has a huge furniture store that I am told is the largest in the area. It also has a 96Ksqft Family Entertainment Center called Hype Adventure Park. It has Golden Ticket Movie Theater which has updated almost all of its screens and seating. I also have never felt unsafe or worried about my car in the parking lot. I have been there from opening until closing at times doing a project there and I think the Mall gets an undeserved bad reputation at times. The mall is clean and safe. read more

There isn't many places to hang out in Meridian like the mall. It's a small mall but it does have a few good anchor stores like Belk, Dillard's, JCPenny's, and Sears! If your not there to shop the food court is a choice spot to grab some grub, pull up a chair, and people watch. Bonita Lake Mall even has a very festive Mexican Restaurant (Las Fuentes) that serves up some Sizzling Fajitas, good margaritas and pina coladas that you can catch while you wait on your movie to start at the cinema! read more

I'll have to agree with Tony T. that the mall is on the small side with a few good anchor stores. It does, however, offer a nice shopping experience. The food court has somewhat limited selection and does not offer any national chain restaurants which I am familiar with. However, the ice cream shop is very nice and well worth a visit. I will not comment about the movie theater as I did not visit it. It would be nice if the mall had a bookstore for bookworms like me, and an arcade for my son. read more

Look, I'm sure it's not easy maintaining a mall in a struggling economy, so I'm not really faulting them... but all the same, this mall just isn't great. They have some good anchor stores, like Belk and Dillard's, but most of the other stuff is aimed at the tween set. No Gap, no Banana Republic, no Ann Taylor, etc. There are some empty storefronts, and one whole anchor store is vacant. If you want variety, the Renaissant mall in Jackson is your best bet. Also, there's not many options at the food court. read more
