It has slightly over 2,300 statues in its interior and there is an incredible amount of light in its interior. It is slightly longer than the cathedral in Paris and has been a historic location for the coronation of many French kings.
It was badly damaged after WWI and was restored - it looks fantastic. I found it looks incredible at night with its up lighting and gothic architecture.
If you're in or close to Reims, I would absolutely visit. If you've just seen Notre-Dame de Paris, Reims is not redundant--it gives you a noticeably different experience of French Gothic architecture.
