It's fine when the adults are present, but the teens working here are very unprofessional. There's one adult manatee who is always kind, but the teen staff often speak to parents disrespectfully. I've seen them playing around instead of paying attention, and when I reported it, they tried to deny it. They even addressed my son about something another child did right in front of them. Unfortunately, Urban Air in Hazlet has gone way downhill. Our visit there today has resulted in us to cancel our family's memberships. Due to their unprofessionalism, nastiness and rudeness, we will never be returning. There is no consistency nor is there understanding of the feelings and sensitivities of children. This place is BANANAS. On the one hand, it's an absolute paradise for children. If you have kids that need to get some energy out, you couldn't design a better space. It's a giant obstacle course, plus a huge trampoline park where they're playing dodgeball, plus a big slippery mountain to climb, a ropes course, go-karts, an arcade, a VR situation, and more. (Incoming rant that makes me sound like an old man: These kids have no idea how great they have it. When I was eight, we had birthday parties in a empty gym and we were lucky if they threw us some balls.) On the other hand, for most adults (at least the ones who don't love screaming children, flashing lights, and other people generally in their personal space), it's entirely too crowded, and an utterly chaotic nightmare. Unsurprisingly, Urban Air is a mecca for Brooklyn birthday parties, which is how we've always come in. However, I'm sure you can just pay for a ticket for your kid (I imagine it's more than you want to spend, but you already live in Brooklyn so you know what it is) if you need to get them moving this winter. The food situation is exactly what you'd expect: bad pizza, popcorn, pretzels, chicken fingers, etc. I think I could forgive them for most transgressions if they only offered alcohol, but I suppose we're here for the children. This was my first time here. My now 12 year old wanted to come here for a birthday party-- from the moment I walked in, I instantly regretted it. The place is extremely crowded, and it's not just how crowded it is, many of either people here do not respect people's personal space. The general at the front counter was very cordial and helpful. Also, I had mentioned to him that it was a party and other kids would be coming later, he told me I would not have to wait and could just bring the other children tot he front for the arm band. I think it's overly priced for what it is, but seemingly the kids had fun. Along with the patience you need for the people here, you'll also need it to secure a table here to eat. They have a food court inside, which, had a double pizza for $24 per pie. This place is so overpriced it is hard to enjoy it. $57 for a 9 year old to jump around for a few hours. Forced to buy cheap socks for $4. There are so many things you can do with your kids for less money and where you don't feel ripped off. I will not be coming back. The first thing I did was ask whether there was anything available for a 3 year old. I was assured there was and sold a $27 package (including the socks they force you to buy). There was NOTHING for her. Was a total waste of money and I went back to ask for a refund. I was refused and offered a 'parent pass' which is 50% off the regular rate of $57. I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive, kind, and genial every staff member was. All too unusual! The food was very reasonably priced ($3 for a slice of pizza that was tasty), the whole place was very clean, and music was only playing from speakers at the entrance (a relief, since it's loud enough already in there with all the kids playing!). This place is a hoot! I came here for a kids birthday party right when it opened in the morning. Keyword is come early in the morning before it gets insanely crowded and annoying. My son had a great time and I noticed that they had plenty of staff working the different areas and birthday party rooms. They also make sure kids behave in the gauntlet areas to prevent injuries. Booked a birthday party package for my son and it was about 14 children. Check in was super easy. Was greeted with smiles and shown our room! We got a private room for two hours. Our dedicated party host VICTOR was absolutely everything ok! He was professional, warm, attentive and did it all! Victor is the best!!! Terrible service! My child's birthday was completely ruined. We paid for the "all-inclusive" package, but it was impossible to use it. The kids had to wait 45 minutes to an hour in line just to get on one attraction. We also paid for a private room for 2 hours, but during that time the children didn't get to go on a single ride because of the huge lines. The staff couldn't handle the crowd. I honestly don't understand what we paid for. When asked if we enjoyed it, I said no and explained the reasons. Their response was just "Sorry", and that was it. Awful experience. First off, I came early purposely to beat the crowd, which we did. However, I waited on line over 15 minutes for tickets but was told that a signed waiver is needed prior to purchasing tickets. They should have a sign at the door stating that when coming in and not by the back wall where the waiver stations were. Can't believe that not all of their attractions were available! The Climbing Walls is "coming soon"?! Paid for admission but can't enjoy the full experience. Anyway, clean facility (maybe because we came early), enough attractions for jumping and fun but dmsller than other UA locations. Prices are reasonable since there are no time limits. The place is big so the kids will have a great time running around and enjoying all of the different activities there are to choose from. Cons: Toooooo many people Long lines for checkin 2 hour limit on the wristbands Long line for concession stand No where for parents to sit as all of the seats were taken. Not enough seats available for the size of the venue One of the activities was closed although I paid for the ultimate deluxe package! Would I go back? I'm extremely disappointed. I reported to two of your employees that a child repeatedly punched my daughter in the head and body and nothing was done. That is unacceptable. A situation this serious should come with real consequences, not just a talk with the other child. My daughter and I ended up leaving when the one who caused the harm should have been removed. The park was fun, but there was a really long line to just get food, the food was really really so expensive and it was only chicken unders fries and popcorn and like ice tea and stuff like who makes $15 only to get four pieces of chicken and two singular fries like who does that. Also, the part where you fight people on the balance beam they don't there's no supervisors to watch the kids play so one time with me and my sister was there. We barely got a chance to do it because the same kids were like playing, but they weren't letting anybody play. But anyway the rest of the park is really good. We came to Urban Air this afternoon because we're scoping venues for our son's upcoming 5th birthday party. We purchased the 5 and under ticket plus two adult tickets (and three pairs of socks which is required). It was a little unclear what the 5 & under ticket included as there were no tier options to select for this ticket type. Because our son loves bumper cars, I wanted to be certain our ticket would give us access to that attraction. So, I contacted Urban Air using the chat on their website and I was told that as long as he meets the height requirement our son would be able to ride the number card with a 5 and under ticket. We saved the bumper cars for the very end and when we got to the front of the line we were told we needed a different wristband. I explained the situation to the bumper car operator who asked me to get a manager. I spoke to Ahmet, the manager, and explained the situation and even showed him the chat I had earlier in the day with an Urban Air representative and he just said that the person I talked to was mistaken and that we could upgrade our ticket for an extra $30 dollars so our son could ride the bumper cars. I told him that seemed pretty unfair, as I made my purchase after confirming it gave us access to the bumper cars but he just shrugged and said "they shouldn't have told you that" and corporate made a mistake" and that he would not honor what we had been promised. We left with a pretty disappointed 4 year old. I can understand that we were perhaps given misinformation, but a business should own up to their mistake and honor what they promise to their customers. Instead we were met with a flippant attitude and an unwillingness to find a solution. Needless to say, we won't be returning and definitely will not book a birthday party here. It's a tough call between 2 and 3 stars. Ultimately I gave it three, because the kids do have a ton of fun, and that's honestly all that really matters. However: - Cafe food options are gross. Not a fruit or a vegetable to be seen. Everything is reheated or comes out of a package. Everything costs an arm and a leg. - Park is weirdly empty a lot of the time, especially early in the day. I know this sounds great, but there's just something kind of sad about bouncing on an enormous trampoline all by yourself. The kids could tell too. - You are going to get nickel and dimed in the most bizarre ways. They will not let you apply a single ticket purchase to the purchase of a season pass if you like the place, and they will not sell you a season pass in person. You have to leave the park and go buy it on the internet. If you try to buy it locally on your mobile device, you will get an unusual error that the staff will be unable to parse. And then of course the socks that they charge actually for. Sounds like a one-time cost until the socks rip apart at the end of the day. read more

On April 26th, 2025, I decided to have a party for my daughter Londyn who was turning 3 years old. I rented a private party room from 5pm-7pm and stayed until closing. A member of my party lost her 5 year old son twice. We went to the front desk for help and the bare minimum was done. No urgency whatsoever. The music continued to play in the venue while they gently called his name on the microphone as if he could hear it. The little boys mother ended up finding him near the activity that requires one to wear a harness, which he did not have on, before an incident like him literally falling from the sky happened. The staff member assigned to that activity wasn't paying attention. I just don't understand how you can have staff that are children themselves not paying attention to the children around them. Around 10:30pm, my daughter's 3rd birthday balloon flew up in the ceiling. I inquired about trying to retrieve it and the manager, Zaire (hopefully that's his name), told me rudely that "they are closing and he's not doing it." He chose to continue to have a conversation with his employee than to try to find ways to help in this situation. My husband came back to pick up the remaining members from the party and wanted to speak to the manager Zaire. So another employee told my husband that she is "tired of this" and to " get her out of here." She started cursing and had an attitude and I simply asked if the attitude was necessary. My husband said he simply wanted to speak to a manager and other employees started jumping in. One stated that he had "niggas and bitches" for my husband and I. He proceeded to take out his phone while threatening not only my life but my husband's and my 3 year old who was still in the building. As we walked away the manager and all the employees on staff were laughing and saying "HA HA." This showed me that this kind of behavior is acceptable at urban air Brooklyn. I spent so much money, roughly $825, to have a good experience and it ended up like this. I don't take anything like this lightly especially when children are involved. If deciding to have an event at urban air just rethink that decision and go elsewhere where your child and you are valued and respected. I am not looking for an "I'm sorry." I would like a reimbursement and so much more. read more

The cops came and was not able to access their security cameras. I believe it was an INSIDE job with the employees. Other kids Jordans went missing too. Like seriously, who steals kids sneakers?! Starting with the service, Amad the manager walked us through all the options, what's available, even a spot where there was spilled water. I really appreciate the handholding and transparency as for a family of 5 this was a big outing for us. We got the right package (adults half off and I got half off based on the activities of my youngest child so was only 12 bucks). All 3 different kids in age had the time of their lives because this is so much more than a trampoline park with ninja warrior courses, wall climbing, rope courses, fun house and so much more. They did not cheap out at the facilities and since it was so big it never felt crowded. Net net I highly reccomend read more

I am extremely upset at this urban air, they post they open up at 12:00 we got there at 12:00 but they had a party so they refused to let us in and made us stay outside although 50 people were in the door before the door. They finally let us in at 12:30!! My daughter is 41 inches and they made us pay for the 42+ inches price. Wearing a mask and can't hear a word she was saying! My husband & I celebrated our daughter's birthday at UA recently at her request. The entire online process to make the reservation was reasonably easy & straightforward. Nothing complicated. From the time we booked UA was in continuous contact with us to see if we needed to add additional kids or food. On the day of the celebration, I arrived about 15mins before so that I could see the setup & add my own touches. I was greeted immediately by someone that led me to the party room that was reserved for us and I must say I was very disappointed when I saw the party decor. Let me just say for the amount of money UA charges I expected way better. During one of my many conversations with UA prior to the party, I made sure to ask about balloons and decorations because of how particular I am and also because my daughter wanted certain colors (balloons/tableware) & for me to make things pretty for her. Each time I was told that we would get BALLOONS, tablecloths, & disposable tableware. We literally only got 4 balloons placed in the middle of a long table even though they made it seem like something other than what we got. No tablecloths at all so I basically purchased tablecloths in the color my baby requested for no reason. The table setup looked so cheap which made no sense to me given the amount of money charged for this. I could have worked around it had we not had an unexpected issue with our balloon order but that's another story. Our host was very nice & went above & beyond to accommodate us. She quickly & efficiently gave out the wristbands after ensuring everyone had signed waivers. Everything was pretty much timed. The food came out at a certain time & the cake was also cut at a certain time. Each time the kids were needed back in the party room an announcement was made requesting the guest of the birthday child. The food was mediocre & way overpriced. We had a chicken fingers platter, a french fries platter, 3 boxes of pizza, and 3 pitchers of soda/juice. Again just way overpriced. Other things were included in the party package for the birthday girl but were never given to us. We had to ask for these things which also didn't make sense to me because these are things that should have already been in the party room or given to us upon arrival. I did have a conversation with the manager on duty that day & he was very nice and apologized several times for the mistakes. He also gave me an extra platinum ticket to return whenever we would like. The place is huge & really nice with so much to do however I do think UA is better for younger kids. Maybe 10 & younger.
