The worst service ever. They filled the wrong Tax form for our business. When we received the penalty notice, this CPA just stopped answering the calls, and No returns on emails and voice messages. My partners and I hired Eileen to handle bookkeeping and tax services for our company. She was helpful at first but she then became unresponsive when we had questions and eventually disappeared completely! We were under the assumption that Eileen would carry out the work efficiently and correctly, however, we were VERY misled. Not only could she not give us the courtesy of returning our emails and phone calls, but she cost us over $500 in mistakes! Eileen misfiled our taxes and we subsequently received letters from the State Franchise Tax board requesting funds that we had already paid. We had to hire another person to fix her mistakes and he concluded that not only did she do them incorrectly, but to fix her error, he had to completely re-do our tax filing! He also found many other errors she had made in quickbooks and was extremely confused by the advice she had given us which messed our books up even more. We understand life happens and it's difficult to always get back to people in a timely way, but it is incredibly unprofessional to never return calls with such a blatant disregard for the welfare of clients. I am an accountant that has a virtual practice although my client needed a bookkeeper to physically go into his shop to help him organizer his Quickbooks and get his books up-to-date. I contacted Eileen who was very friendly and knowledgeable and agreed to work as a subcontractor. At first everything was great. She met with the client, set up a schedule and kept me informed about everything that was discussed. As time went on, I found that the timing between her responses was becoming longer and longer. It got to the point where it would take between a week or two to get any type of response back from her. At the beginning of November 2017, I wrote her an e-mail telling her of my concerns regarding her responsiveness. She wrote me back quickly to reassure me that she had hired additional staff to help with the work flow and she apologized. While I was worried, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. For the next 2 weeks she did as promised and kept me in the loop...then after those 2 weeks...nothing. Only later did I find out that she had been a no-show on a bookkeeping appointment with the client. The last communication she sent me was on November 28, 2017. It is now January 11, 2018 and in that period of time I have left messages, and e-mailed her but there has been no response. She essentially left us high and dry with ZERO notice. A person can have all the knowledge and experience in the world but without professionalism, and a sense of responsibility her skill is irrelevant. I sincerely hope that all potential clients and other accountants who are considering to use Eileen, take this as a warning and stay away. I hate leaving a review like this but when someone drops off the face of the planet like this, I feel other people have a right to know so that it doesn't happen to them either. I've had Eileen process my taxes for well over 5 years and I have to say that I appreciate the level of professionalism that she brings to the table as well as her friendly demeanor. Being that my background is in finance, I tend to have a distinct awareness of the work that's being conducted by another professional in the same field/similar. If you are looking for a good Bookkeeper that works with Quickbooks do not contact Uribe Bookkeeping Solutions. She "accidentally" put funds into her account instead of depositing the funds into the Company's account more than once, without realizing it until an independent audit was done. A notice was sent to return funds immediately which still took a few weeks, all the while she blamed her "Assistant" whom I never spoke to the entire time she had our account. After no longer using her services and taking over the Quickbooks account I had to go back a whole year to reconcile the account correctly with the help of Quickbooks support. read more
