I took a FlexBus to and from this station. The trip took about four hours nonstop from Prague. Not…read moretoo bad. My friend and I arrived at night in mid-October. We got really turned around and my phone was having trouble directing us to the nearest metro. We ended up getting a cab ride to our hostel...which cost just about the same as our hostel. We later learned in the daylight that an S and U locations are very close. We just walked the wrong way. We had no problem heading back to the station. Even though I still didn't have data, I was able to figure out the train system by that point and we arrived right on time to board our bus back to Prague. The station itself is very easy to navigate. It's not too large. The inside is a bit sketch. Pretty dirty...as one might expect from a bus station. Just keep watch of your belongings. I used the ATM in the station and it seemed to be safe from skimmers.

A ticket allows 2 bags 25kg each. Busses run between Hamburg ZOB and Berlin Ostbahnhof/Berlin ZOB. No internet onboard (for this price whatever), drinks, coffee, and snacks are available onboard. The station is another option to get food and coffee before the trip. The location is quite far from everything, but sbahn station is 5 min walk only. Take ringbahn to speed up your commute.
