And thanks for my "gold star" , for being a goid patient. I wish you could be my primary care doctor. You and the staff MADE my experience very fearless, comforting, caring or exactly what hospital care should be. Thank you again Encology staff for taking good care of me. You made me think about how all people should daily practice treating each other professionally and intelligently and how medical professionals and patients must work together for success. You made my day. As an African American, I was extremely proud of the professional services I saw and received from the African American staff and at a hospital in my own neighborhood. I felt it was nice when another patient excitedly recognized and greeted one of my nurses from another hospital and then the nurse told her that she bought a house nearby and transfered to Trinity. Thank you nurse. Adding more greatness, the receptionists at the front door of the hospital greeted me nice. A hospital staff, who at one point saw me lost in the hallway, stopped, asked me if I needed help, and literally took time to take and helped me find what I was looking for. And, yet, after I finished my procedure, I went in the cafe to eat and another staff sitting near me nicely greeted me. I am sorry and shameful that, due to weakness and / disorientation from fasting and my procedure, I did not remember the names of all staff mentioned above. Go Trinity! Keep up the great work!

I find this unacceptable - and have complained numerous times, with no changes. That brings me to this new place and new doctor. Dr. Chen. I researched a new doctor, found Dr. Chen, found this location. Bascially, I picked it because it is close to my house and Dr. Chen has Monday and Friday hours. She also has hours at another location in Oak Lawn. The building is pretty new. I got to my appt 15 minutes early, filled out my paperwork and was prepared to wait and wait and wait. Well, I was called within 5 minutes and met with 3 people. The lady that took my medical history, the nurse practicioner and then Dr. Chen. All 3 were really great and had good bedside manner. Dr. Chen was patient, listened, didn't rush me, asked lots of questions and was just really cool. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor. Very happy!!!

They get you to come in by calling you up after maintaining your number from a 3rd party and not…read morebeing honest about how they received your information. There are no certifications on the wall, the billing person who is dressed as a medical professional is interviewing you while "leading" your answers to repeated injury questions. No one has on a name tag or badge. The staff was very friendly, actually over friendly and was a red flag for me. The office is not set-up to do confidential treatments as the equipment is entirely to close and they are asking you questions about your pain levels and other questions in front of other patients which is unprofessional, possibly a HIPPA violation. I do not recommend this place to anyone, they are preying on people with Medicaid and no insurance. Proceed to them with caution.

I met with the Dr. and he took time to listen to me about my issues and asked me a number of good, simple questions in order to help him determine how he could help me best. Throughout the entire process, everything was explained to me in a way I could understand, which made me feel very good about my care. Repeat visits were done in the same manner with a great attention of detail and communication. I really felt like I healed much faster through the care this office provided. I plan on continue visiting this office as I now consider them a partner in my overall health care plan.

Rude. The front desk folks are beyond rude. They act like its an inconvenience to give you…read morepaperwork. Don't even think to ask a question like, what does this test mean and where do I call to make this appointment? I made an appointment with the hospital to get tests done that they ordered. Two weeks later, the Friday before my Monday appointment at 3:00pm the hospital called saying they wouldn't do the test because the doctor's office hadn't sent in approval to my insurance. I called the doctor's office and the lady who answered essentially told me it wasn't worth her time to work on it because it wouldn't be approved today. I originally went in for what I thought might be a gall bladder issue. The NP felt my stomach, told me it was absolutely not my gall bladder, and ordered several tests. When I returned with the results, she told me she was ordering a gall bladder test. I feel that this entire office is completely inept and they don't want to deal with patients. The bedside manner could use a total overhaul. Unfortunately, this is the only place close that takes my insurance, so I'm screwed. I can only hope they get enough negative reviews to make a change.
