This is an excellent library in North Syracuse. They have lots of resources - books, DVD's, CD's,…read moreetc. They have a nice feature for very new movies where you can only borrow them for 3 days and they can not be reserved. In other libraries some patrons reserve the new movies to the point where it's booked for a year!!! There are 2 medium sized library rooms that can be reserved for meetings or a private work space. And a large meeting room where various groups can meet (yarning group?, the income tax folks, etc.). The staff is always polite and cordial.

The manager saunters over and then just parrots her. Unbelievably poor service and a waste of time dealing with these people.

It is so easy to put this on hold through the online website for all of Onondaga Libraries and then pick your holds up where and when it is most convenient. I have gone to this library also for some offerings in the p.m. such as computer classes on blogging, a movie offering, and a women's self defense class. All were free. They have many events/classes like these each month. I love that this library has convenient hours that they are open that fit my lifestyle and also free WiFi for patrons to use is always a plus.
