For those of you not from the east, think of Wawa as an upscale 7-11. You build your sandwich on computer terminals by the deli counter, and they make the sandwich to your specifications. Wawa is clean, well staffed, and they make an okay sandwich. But, honestly? when you are looking for a great hoagie, Wawa just doesn't cut the mustard. However, it will do in a pinch.

I arrived at Wawa around 12:10pm and went to the pick-up shelf to look for my order. The manager, Tom, had such an attitude with me bc they were swamped with orders, like it was MY fault. Tom, I'm sorry you were overwhelmed today but you need to keep your attitude in check. Your customer service skills really need to be improved upon. And I hope you get the chance to read this so you are aware of how rude you came off. Do better!

We came across this service station while on our way to the Lehigh Gorge whitewater rafting. Our…read moredesignated driver called out a bathroom emergency and we had to get off the I-78 W to let him do his thing. The station is located in an isolated field and odd cause there are only 2 open gas kiosks despite its size. The no-brand-name gas is not considered cheap (for Pennsylvania) and their prices are not advertised outside the gas station (like others). Obviously their selling point is the convenience store since there are wide selections of candies, foods, beverages, tobacco products and lottery tickets. These items are pricier compared to the ones seen at other Pennsylvania locations. They have gender segregated restrooms. The ladies room is spacious and equipped with 2 private stalls. I encountered the stall without toilet paper and I had to move over to the next one. The hand towels were unrefilled as well. What's more, the entire room stinked and there were skid marks too! Although the restroom is unpleasant, at least I didn't have to wait in-line (for a long time) to answer the call of nature. Overall, I'd give Pioneer 3-stars.
