I saw a c-card machine sitting on a desk, so IDK why we were told this? If there was a minimum purchase, it wasn't explained. This "cash only" news was a trend at many places in Spain, and while I realize they have higher taxes on c-card purchases, it would be more honest to post your policy on the door or at the register. As much as the ladies here were sweet and helpful, and deserve 5 stars, I have to follow my rule of taking a star off for stores that don't take c-cards. This store is conveniently located in the old town part of Cadiz, near all the good shopping!

Our tour guide took us on walks down old cobblestone alleys past historical buildings such as a cathedral, to a fantastic central market that sold a variety of delicious foods, to an entertaining flamenco show, and to a beautiful park with unique trees and birds. Cadiz also has beaches that you might consider using. Overall, Cadiz is not one of our favorite cruise ports, but we were happy to visit once.

It has more than 100 watchtowers, including the iconic Torre Tavira, which was traditionally used for spotting ships. On the waterfront is the domed, 18th-century Cádiz Cathedral, featuring baroque and neoclassical elements. The city's strategic location and its role in trade with the Americas significantly shaped its development, particularly during the 18th and 19th century. Cadiz was effectively the capital of "free Spain" during the Napoleonic Wars (Peninsular War) when Napoleon tried to invade. The Peninsular War, a major part of the Napoleonic Wars, was fought in Spain and Portugal from 1808 to 1814. This beautiful square is one of the welcome sights for people coming into Old Town Cadiz…read more The old Plaza Mayor of the city, also known as La Corredera, was found outside the walls, as was common in medieval cities, and near one of the access gates, in this case to the original Puerta del Mar, today Arco de la Pópulo. The irregular layout of this square is conditioned, since in the past it coincided with one of the mouths of the ancient sea, which crossed the current island of Cádiz. In the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, several buildings of interest stand out, such as the Municipality, the church of San Juan de Dios and the Casa de los Pazos Miranda. We loved seeing the activity in here, kids running around and playing, people strolling, just a nice cute cozy place in Cadiz.

Everything you want: clothing, bathing suits, some shoes, books, stationary, school supplies, some limited furniture, any and everything in house and kitchen plastic ware, gloves, electronic accessories and devices, etc. You get the idea. If you looked at EVERYthing you'd be here three hours and 27minutes at the very minimum! Asian employees work the store and they watch like hawks each client that walks in! Closed-circuit TV and screens monitor all areas for theft prevention. I found some good things that I wasn't here for, but picked up because I simply needed it. I paid with a 50€ bill (smallest bill I had) and the asian girl complained in spanish that I was taking all her good change... I should have taken back my 50€ and walked out of the store instead. Limited street parking BUT you can park at the huge shopping mall parking lot next door and just walk over. Just remember this is basically a five and dime store (20 duros) store; you get what you paid for so if it breaks within 10mins or 2 days, don't complain! NOTE: They do NOT take returns for refund. Returns period is 15 days.
