The incompetence and indifference to customers at the post office is breathtaking. One female clerk in particular is not just stupid, but outright hostile (a truly bad combination). The supervisor is not interested in doing his job; he pointedly kept me waiting for 20 minutes in an empty post office regarding a lost package (one of many over the years), and offered no help. From time to time over the years there have been friendly and helpful staff members, who never stay there for very long. The Bronxville Post Office is a disgrace. read more

I am shocked that it took 2 whole month for my package to leave the post office. It was scanned but never updated until two months later! I'm never shipping out anything from this branch. This branch opens at 9am on Saturday, waiting in lobby area at 9:45am and window is closed, no sign posted and workers in the back sorting mail are unresponsive. Shameful how the USPS reputation has disintegrated. read more

i love this post office! Really shocked to see all the low reviews. The workers here are so nice and friendly - one especially is super positive and greets everyone by name! I've always been able to get everything done pretty quickly, even when there's a line. So much faster and easier than the post offices in Yonkers imo. read more

Bronxville post office NY is a major problem, I shipped a package by USPS priority mail, was not delivered to the recipient instead got an tracking information to be pickup. The recipient went to the PO they could not find the package! Someone who running that office needs to be investigate. There are too many many cases and reviews about this PO have missing packages. Numerous undelivered packages. Numerous late packages. I've made claims or opened investigations pertaining to lost packages, and they will call. If I miss the call, then there is no way I'll even get to speak to them unless I actually go to the Post Office itself. I've tried calling them numerous times to inquire about an undelivered package, but NO ONE answers. There's absolutely no way to contact this post office short of actually visiting. There have been numerous times my packages have been delivered elsewhere, as well. It also doesn't help when a carrier lies about making a delivery when actually didn't. UPDATE: I have now had to open yet ANOTHER claim with this post office as another of my packages has gone missing. That makes TWICE within ONE week. read more

This Post Office has become a nightmare. With the exception of when our regular carrier is working, mail is constantly lost or not delivered for days. Mail notices for items that require a signature are not completed properly or at all so there is no way to know if your item be attempted re-delivery or needs to be picked up. They do not answer the phone so you cannot inquire if the item is at the Post Office and cannot obtain the information on the USPS website. At the actual PO lines are long, staff is overworked and unpleasant. Its no wonder people have moved to other ways to ship or mail! read more

I gave it 2 stars only because the workers are so nice and polite. The manager (I am told his name is Tony) is terrible. Last week, there was a long line of more than 15 people so that multiple people were backed up against the post office wall - no possibility of social distancing! There was only one window opened which was creating the huge line. The manager came out from the back and was headed outside. I asked if another window could be opened and he just said, "They're doing something else." That was it. He headed out the door without any apparent concern for the long line or forced lack of social distancing! read more

I never received 2 packages marked as "delivered," so I went in to ask about them. The supervisor took my info and said he would speak with the carrier to find out if they were delivered and would call me first thing the next morning. It is now 3 weeks later and I still have not received a call. They never answer the phone and the one time they did, I was told the same run-around that they would look into it. And I also went in and spoke to someone else, and once again, they took my info and said they would make sure to find out if, in fact, these packages were actually delivered. And I still have received no repsonse. Packages have never been stolen from my place or nearby neighbors and the packages were not left outside for long, but it would be nice to know if this possibly happened. The only reason this post office has not reached out to me is because they don't care about me or about you. They are extremely inconsiderate, as I cannot even file any kind of report without knowing what happened. I take back all the nice things I said. For all I know, the mail carrier kept them or they're rolling around the back of a truck. Too many times they mark a package as "delivered" that isn't so they can go home for the day. This place is an A in my book. They seem happier here than in most other post office in the area. I try and make it here even though there is another office closest to me because the workers seem happier and everything is nice and clean. The line moves fast and they have plenty of post office boxes available for rent. I will continue to come here!! read more

A typical USPS post office in bronxville that is never crowded and the quality of the service given by the postal clerk's is above average and void of given stress to the customers including me . I stopped by on a Monday morning that was raining non stop and if you are familiar with the Bronx river parkway via the WESTCHESTER county side , you will deal with heavy road flooding at times . I took the safe route and got off the Bronxville exit and will go thru Tuckahoe to get to central Ave but first I remembered that I have to get stamps and a postal money order . A small village post office with the basic postal supplies available and with no one on line it will be a short timely visit .wow the postal clerk lady is friendly and I got a good morning , a thank you and have a nice day all in one sequence , wow and wow as the shock of a positive visit to the post office is still lingering . Got to give the Bronxville post office 4 STARS and it's pouring outside and I don't have an umbrella . read more

How anyone can give this post office a good rating is beyond comprehension. They are understaffed at the windows and even with lines of 12 or more people they dilly-dally and allow customers to wrap packages at the window while everyone else is pre-prepared, all the while customers can worry about their meter running out of time. There is no pickup window for held mail, which means standing in line behind customers who are buying postage, sometimes for a cart full of packages (businesses). At least, someone there realized renewing passports at this location made things unbearable and rerouted this service. The lobby is big enough to roller blade there yet they removed the postage and self-mail machines for which they had plenty of room-something about the machines taking people's jobs-which for that place was a good idea. It's self-inflicted torture if you deal with this location on a daily basis. I've had numerous problems including an insurance claim for $125 for a lost package, that the supervisor insisted he was taking care of, which dragged on for months, and then suddenly he was replaced. Try explaining that to the next supervisor. There were no records passed on so I was never reimbursed. I've been a resident for 43 years and it only gets worse-never better. read more

On one hand, the people here are pretty nice. On average you might wait 5-10 mins. But on the other hand, I lost trust in this post office after the police informed us that some employees here had been opening mail then rewriting checks to steal money. I stopped using this location. I do not recall if the police ever fully resolved the matter. So use this location (or any) at your own risk. read more

Bronxville PO carrier service and mailman are both horrible! They always claim they "attempted" a delivery and never do. They sometimes dont even leave a tag, its not until I log onto Amazon that I find out they've done it again! They don't ring the bell when they claim they do. Our mailman is a piece of work too, every mail item looks like he got mad at it. He'll shove things in with no regard to sensitive mail. I had a rather large item once, instead of him putting it by my door, he jammed it into someone else's mailbox, messing up all their envelopes too. He is rude as they come! read more

I spoke with a woman today at this post office after getting off the phone with usps customers service about a package i was tracking, they told me that my package was sent to this location , so i called to try to just pick it up from here but they lady they i spoke with was rude , as if she was doin me a favor by checking to see if my package was there or in route . I think the reason this PO gets such extreme reviews is that their in-person service is marvelous, and their delivery service sucks. Every time I go, I get courteous, efficient, accurate, and friendly service. But like other reviewers, I've had many package problems over the 10 years I've lived here. Recently, I ordered stamps through stamps.com--you'd think the PO delivering stamps would be the easiest thing in the world. The tracking said it was supposed to arrive on July 11. Then it said it was delayed by around 10 days arriving at this PO. Fine, no problem. Then, it said they would arrive July 21, and it claimed they were delivered to my mailbox. Nope. I have been checking every day, and making sure an envelope didn't get bundled inside something else, like a newspaper. No stamps. I agree with others that this PO never EVER answers the phone. I created a claim. Years ago, a created a claim and was told twice that someone would "definitely" get back to me, and nothing ever happened. Last time I ever order stamps by mail. read more

In the five years I've lived in bronxville I have encountered great service until today. This relates to one worker (whose name was given to me as Lennerda as I did not see a name tag) I first asked direction for the correct express procedure then proceeded to complete address form but all pens were without ink or broken . I said to the people in line , I just want to get a pen , I'm not getting in front of the line . When I asked above named worker for a pen her response was " lady this is the second time you've been up here. Even though I explained the need for a pen she continue to respond in a rude manner. I completed the task and got on the end of the line hearing her say loudly "return my pen". My plan was to return when I was called as next in line , trying not to have another interaction with her. I then let others go before me so I could be waited on by another worker. read more
