USPS Not Delivering for multiple days in a row? and its not a Federal shutdown either…read more ZIPCODE= 31411 "Oakridge" We've used Informed Delivery since it was initially provided and until now it has been a good "informer" of the mail to be expected the day of the 7:25 a.m. email, with delivery here on the outer edge of Oakridge as late as 6:30 p.m. However, the last three emails, 3 days, have indicated a total of over 25 pieces of mail including confidential financial mailings, a few bills still mailed, yes lots of bulk mail too, but NONE OF THE THREE DAYS HAS THERE BEEN A USPS DELIVERY AT ALL!!!! Actually quite shocked when this post office gets good reviews because no matter how many times I…read morego here the clerks have always been rude.. I went in there to send a package internationally, which I have done countless of times before and never had any issues. This time the clerk typed in my customs form information and told me very rudely that they cannot send my package to Europe. I was so confused because I sent a package to the same person internationally last month and it got to them fine. So I asked why they couldn't because there's nothing inside the package that isn't allowed to be delivered. So the clerk got very starky at me and said "I SAID WE CANNOT SEND YOUR PACKAGE" then she turned over to her manager who was in the next counter and instead of the manager helping me, she also spoke very condescendingly to me and said "How many times do we need to explain to you that you can't send this out?". They both made me feel dumb and as if I couldn't understand English. The next day, I went to the post office at Fahm St with the same package, and it went by so smoothly and they were able to send the package out. Honestly, if you guys are going to keep being rude to your customers, then please do everyone else a favor and don't work at a customer service job.

I went to the post office that I used to mail my package to ascertain what could have happened since I paid $9.90 for priority mail and they stuck the sticker on my package. In an effort to not hold up the line, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager never came out and the explanation of why my package came back to me was "sometimes the postage comes off the package going through the machines in Jacksonville." I have never had that happen as long as I've been sending orders for my business. Mind you, there are precision cuts on my package on the back and along the side, but the tape I added when I sent it was still intact. I asked the lady about these cuts and she offered the same explanation that, "sometimes cuts like that happen when going through the machines." My complaints are about the dismissal by the "manager" and the lack of effort put forth to see what actually happened. She actually thought that I would try to remail it in the tattered package...wouldn't the exact same thing happened as last time? I am attaching "before and after" images of my package. I am convinced there was someone trying to view what was inside of my package and I will refrain from using USPS if I can help it; especially not the one on Montgomery St.

There was only one employee working the counter. She was trying very hard to get a very difficult customer happy. She apologized to the two people in front of me and was very fast at helping them. She also apologized to me for my wait. I really didn't think it was that bad. She was very nice and efficient. There is plenty of parking at this location. My only Complaint is you have to enter from Bay Street and exit Fahn. It takes some planning and can be inconvenient. But planning ahead it's no big deal. I'm glad to have found another downtown post office.

Many other locations have the priority mail boxes and envelopes available to take without having to go to the counter. NOT THIS ONE! Luckily I was only there to mail letters and I already had the stamps. Good thing because there was no electronic stamp machine and the line was long as heck for the desk. I know now don't use this one if I am in a hurry. The lines can get long and there is not a way to "do it yourself ".

I had a great experience at USPS in Pooler today ! It was the first time I was sending a package…read moreand it was an international shipping. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but was really impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the lady at the counter. She was very polite and patiently answered all my queries and offered the best options to ship the package. The whole thing was quick and I was able to complete the task in 15 minutes! I also like to add that this is their new office so everything looks clean and well maintained. There's also plenty of parking ! I will be using their services soon in the near future !
