I tried calling 3x today 3/28/25 at 10:52. Who ever is working would pick up the phone and then hang up. So now I have to go in person to ask a question. I hope your manager sees this. I'll be looking into filing a formal complaint.

Parking seems to be the only pain when it comes to this location. When you can find it easily, that's the biggest signal that they aren't crowded. As far as the customer service, it's efficient and quick. You're not standing in line too long because the employees move around and handle business efficiently. What I love about this location is the different provisions that are offered to handle b business. There's plenty of P.O boxes, self service machine, plenty of packaging and boxes to ship items. Communication is clear on how the business is ran and they are very clean.

Mail carrier lost our building key, again. This is the 3rd time. Whoever Bree is, she doesn't listen to the loud speaker or her supervisors. We waited 15 minutes for her to go collect my mail. She never came so supervisor had to do it herself. Manager, is never there, no email, no phone number- it's like she knows her building is trash so she doesn't put her name on it. It's 10:19am and these people are slow with no line. Makes you just not want to bother with them These people don't know anything.

They served the queue skipping person like nothing happened. How is this even acceptable? The queue was very long and there was just one counter opening on the weekday. Another counter was for the passport which has a separate queue. Smiling staff and my goods arrived in time.

    Official Marvin Gaye Post Office!

Just went in for a change of address and was helped by William who was very thorough and knowledgeable about the process. He made sure I understood the details and was kind and about as helpful as humanly possible! The service I saw at the other windows seemed to run smooth and up tempo! I noticed as I was leaving that it's the Marvin Gaye PO! Thanks for representing his legacy well, William and co-workers!

    Mercy mercy me!

Just FYI, this location is dedicated to Marvin Gaye who actually died near here. So props to all the mailworkers who have to deal with all the bs that is going on. It's bad enough you have to deal with the elements, dogs and risking life and limb going to the worse neighborhoods, but now with politic trash. In light of the pandemic going on these guys are still out there delivering our mail. Amazingly I haven't noticed everything is still getting delivered ina reasonable time. I had a package to deliverer to Greece and it got there in like 8 days. I'm so surprised. Just a note, get in early because lines can get long quick.

The blue door that no one answers.

Only one person works the window. If you are picking up a package, that person doesn't start until 9:30am even though the post office opens at 8:30am. Don't bother going to the blue door and ringing the doorbell or knocking for help with vacation hold mail pick up because they will never answer it. Long lines are constant because there is just one guy working the window. Staff here don't like the public and the public don't like them either. No point complaining about this post office on Yelp, instead, go to the USPS survey site and enter your review. Make sure to enter the Post Office zip code when they ask for it: 90007. https://uspsci.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?idx=68AXQ8&POSMedia=0 This is their address: 3585 S Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007

Worst Post Office Ever! Never answer the phone, nothing but rude employees, and horrible management! You guys need to learn how to communicate with each other!!! I've been trying to get ahold of the supervisor and they keep hanging up!

This place is sooo ghetto. The workers were arguing with customers, they weren't wearing mask, and were very RUDE.

We always go as a pair one drives around looking for parking while the other gets down to drop off the package. Wait Time: When I arrived, there were two customers being helped. Surprisingly, there were two employees working (which is rare for such a small store, but maybe because of the holidays). I waited about seven minutes before I was called. After me, about four or five people lined up, so it can get packed quickly. Service: I was just sending out a package related to health insurance. It was super quick. I handed it over, they scanned it, and gave me the receipt sticker. The employee was fine, not rude, but not overly friendly either. Just did the job and said thank you. Store Size & Atmosphere: It's a very small location. A customer was on the side loading a bunch of boxes onto a trolley which made it feel even more crowded. There's also a "For Lease" sign on the side of the building not sure if they're moving or if it's for another unit, but they've been there a long time. Product Quality: I didn't buy anything here, so I can't comment on the store products. Value: I wasn't charged for my shipment (it was covered), so no comment on pricing either. Overall: Quick drop-off, small and busy store, challenging parking, but the wait wasn't bad for me. Good for simple, fast package sending.

The employee assisting me, Jesus, placed the wrong shipping label on the wrong package. Because of this error, the recipient received a $2 calculator instead of the materials we shipped. When I called the store to report the issue, the manager, Josh, was immediately rude and dismissive. He falsely accused me of yelling, told me I needed to come into the store to resolve it, and then hung up on me. I then went to the store in person and spoke with a woman named Violet. I calmly explained the situation, but she was extremely condescending and refused to take any responsibility for the mistake made by their employee. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, she told me I needed to take it up with UPS corporate. What made the situation even more disturbing was that Violet accused me of coming into the store "aggressive," which was completely untrue. I was calm and respectful the entire time. As a Black woman, being immediately labeled as aggressive when I was simply trying to address and resolve a mistake made by the store reflects the harmful and tired "angry Black woman" stereotype. That stereotype does not apply to me, and it should not be used to dismiss legitimate concerns from customers. Instead of taking accountability for a clear error made in their store, the staff chose to be dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. I will be filing formal complaints with UPS corporate and the Better Business Bureau regarding both the mishandling of this shipment and the way I was treated. If you want to avoid the headache and disrespect, I strongly recommend going to the Figueroa location, where the staff are professional, helpful, and actually customer-service oriented.
