Typical government agency with typical government employees. When we call and talk to some who claims to be in charge, all we get are excuses and continually asked if we were sure we didn't accidentally go to their website and select the option by mistake. I get notifications at 7 am stating animal interference or no secure location which is a lie to get out of doing their job. If I half-assed my job I would be fired. Not to mention the 20 minute drive to/from & gas $$ wasted going to the post office on a twice weekly trip. Absolutely ridiculous!! I'm glad we only rent where we live, couldn't imagine this being a permanent residence and having to deal with the worst postal service ever.

It is so small that if you blink you'll miss it as you drive through the curvy roads. My family has had a post office box here for 20+ years and have always had a wonderful experience. The postmaster, Becky and all of the employees over the years have always been the nicest & easiest people to have behind the counter. It is a wonderful place to have a box, buy stamps and send packages.

Not only did he help with sending my package off, but he was also very helpful in suggesting different restaurants to try since I haven't been in the area since 2007. So, the Post Office is very clean, small, yet very efficient. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and it would have been shorter, if I had my item boxed and ready to ship. The hours are inconvenient and as quickly as Landrum is growing you would think it's time to go back to normal business hours and/or hire more people if you need to close down to catch up on your work! Also, if you have a question, don't try to call because they almost never answer the phone! I have had to drive there several times just to get answers that could have easily been answered over the phone!

The help is very nice and friendly. They do close for lunch between 12:15-1:15. The only thing I wish is that they had a machine here to do your own packages. I know its a small town but some towns smaller I've seen them. Would be very nice not having to wait in line. Maybe someday.
