I have been coming to this post office for years now. Never has my personal credit card nor my company credit card been denied. Also, the staff working there have been nothing but kind and helpful every time I come in. A D. - Maybe you did something wrong or there was something wrong with your card. I know a lot of places wont take credit cards if they are not signed on the back because it's the law. I have included some links for you to review. And probably knows everyone. The hours are weird, but it's the federal government that regulates them. Monday-Friday 8-10 and 12:30-2:30. Saturday 9-11.

Small town post offices are so much more relaxed and pleasant than big city ones so it is always a pleasure to go in one, even if they do give me funny looks for my lavender hair.

Since moving to Roscommon, MI, three years ago, we have lots of issues. The mail carrier rarely delivers our mail. I have made several complaints to the main USPS office which is the only way to get the local Roscommon office to address the issues we have been having over the last three years. We were even told to get a PO Box but that is $100 a quarter. I spoke with a lawyer and was told that the USPS cannot arbitrarily refuse mail delivery. If you have similar issues, contact the USPS Inspector. We refuse to accept this situation and will continue to file complaints.
