For the rest of the folks, a trip to the "transfer center" is one of the frequent chores in daily life of frugal New England. However, the restrictions on refuse that approximate European standards can be onerous. Enter Naughton & Sons. They recycle or dispose of nearly everything and have the equipment to do so. Other than basic home refuse, these specialized shops provide the ability to recycle and dispose of other items normally not accepted. Mattresses for example. We had furniture for an extra bedroom that we turned into a study. And they take mattresses and bedding. Their rates are very competitive and the customer service is excellent. Other than driving 14 miles from home to Haughton & Sons, the experience was great. An attendant even assisted me in taking the stuff off the car roof. Highly recommend.
