Check! -Looking for friendly people who are always helpful? Check! Seriously, the Kingston post office is a great place and a true anchor to our tiny downtown. When our neighborhood's mailbox got knocked over by a plow this winter, they were unfailingly helpful in briefly redirecting our mail for counter pickup and in advocating with the Boston bureaucracy to get people out there to assess the damage and figure out a solution in the dead of winter when the ground was frozen. Great people!

Because they have one of the worst parking set ups of ANY business let alone a Post Office. You have to park at an angle because they share a (small) lot with a packie. Because of the angled parking sometimes its hard to get out if you are taking a right turn out of the parking lot. This causes my review to lose two stars. Summary: Great service is hindered by the bad parking situation.

We did not see them pack the items, but felt it was straight forward. Upon receiving the package in Utah, we were presented with a mangled and taped up box. The box they utilized was a box from a sleeping bag (think of a box off of a Walmart shelf). This box was never designed for or intended to shipped across country via UPS. CCPS responded: "It does look like a reused box was used for your shipment, and also definitely looks like the box was improperly handled. We do accept and reuse boxes of good condition, and for items of clothes or other non fragile items, sometimes a reused box fits the items better." Why go to a store that specializes in shipping if they aren't going to put your stuff in a real shipping box? I would never use this business or recommend it to anyone again. Poor service, poor quality and poor value - Stay away and go to the real UPS Store!
