Until.... I called the UPS store on Sergeant Road. (Mind you I have never been to Sioux City and this was an Ebay purchase I was lucky enough to have the seller drop off). I was fortunate to have reached an employee there named Calissa that worked with me on an amazing quote for packing + shipping and communicated well throughout. My heavy picture & frame not only arrived on time, but it was the most amazing job I have ever seen. It took me over 30 minutes to get everything unboxed as the attention to detail with bubble packs and foam assured absolutely nothing was out of place. Said employees were calling in and that calls were made for other employees to cover the store. This wasted our time waiting for the store to open and then having to come back to find the one item we were looking for to be priced 15% higher than buying it online at Staples. They did a good job moving our snow drifts in our lane. I have a 100 yard driveway made of red…read morerock. I messaged them on January 22nd and they came the morning of January 23rd. Snow is wet and lane is getting soft, but the moved the 5 to 10 foot drifts clearing the driveway and parking area the best they could considering the soft conditions. I called another place (will go do the crappy review there) and was met with an inability to do a transaction over the internet (I know they are in Iowa, but welcome to the somewhat modern times) and when I called the dude was gruff and said, I have 1 spot left, come and get it and it is yours..... NOT HERE !!!! There was a nice web portal to make my reservation, then when I called to confirm, sorry other place had me all shook up and I was 1 week away from move out, their phone person was GREAT and ensured I had everything. I then received a call the next day as first day was over the weekend by the Manager to confirm. The sweetest demeanor on the phone, I was very confident. Then when I arrived 4 days later, I had a unit waiting for me, she hooked me up and BAAAM I was storing my stuff for the summer. By the way, this also bought my business for the next 4 years and I ensured everyone at my son's college I spoke to knew how wonderful this place was. Welcome Iowa, this is what I was looking for...... GREAT PLACE. Now off to find the other place and write a crappy review, but I suspect they don't care much.
