If you absolutly need to go into the store, be sure you set aside at least an hour as service is generally very slow. In the off chance you have the opportunity to speak with one of the very friendly female employees, you will have a good experience. The younger "gentleman" that has worked there for years, makes it apparent that he has much better things to do than to help you. He could use a tip from some of the gals that work there. worst internet of all time spent months during the combining of the two having us cellular tell me I'd get better internet than .5 -30 mbps after I finally got on the tmobile plan because the towers would quit interfering with each other and the second it goes over I go back to .5 mbps call and get told ya our towers are always pretty spotty in your area you might be better off switching to another company what company can't provide internet to the middle of town. follow that up with losing all service once a week it's crap.... the person I was on the phone with today gets a 5 star review though told me there was nothing she could do cause they were working on the tower but actually tried to help but then again why do they have to work on a tower they just had to fix less than a week ago because noone had any service then either read more

Disgusting and disgraceful customer service. Us cellular has been spending millions in their add campaigns but till they dont hire the right people no one is going to use their services. I went it with intent to port my number from another carrier to us cellular but I am glad I didnot, I was never acknowledged even though there were like multiple employees standing. Gave them eye contact and waited for almost 20 mins, still no one asked anything or acknowledged. Walked out and never coming back to this store. read more

The customer service is very very slow. But once you get in to speak to someone the sales people seem nice. Cellular service sucks 1/5 stars! If I leave the state of Iowa I can't call or receive calls! I'm counting down the days I can go back to AT&T. I highly recommend that you don't waste your time with this office. In the past eight years we have had US Cellular service for our cell phone coverage. In this time, workers have gossiped about each other to me the customer, although I had no interest in knowing their business. They have signed me up twice for the wrong program. They haven't informed me of the best programs available when I have had questions but instead leave it to me to look into the matter. Almost always I have to call the 800 number (or 611 on your cell) to get accurate and helpful information. They have sent notices to my children's phones instead of mine each time I have added a line. They lost my belief points at one time. They forgot to put insurance on once even after requested but luckily I caught it on my bill. And recently, they somehow made it so I don't have authorized assess to talk with customer service even though it was my line to begin with and I am the only authorized adult user on this account. These are just a sampling of what I can remember off the top of my head, not to mention the one hour on average wait for any kind of service whether its technical issues, paying a bill or getting a battery swap. You would be much better handled if you go to the US Cellular Authorized Agent office at 2500 South Center Street. These guys are privately owned but contract out rights to sell and handle US Cellular phones exclusively. Their hours aren't as convenient and they aren't able to handle a few issues such as technical problems and charging things to your account, but I rest assured that they are at least competent, friendly, and work in a timely manner.
