When I placed my order for an Alfred Angelo dress in April, they told me by the first week of June it will be arriving. For the first 2 weeks of June, and I heard nothing from the shop. I started to call and figure out an estimated arrival time for the dress, so I could take time off from work and drive down to Laconic from Concord to get it. After a month of weekly check in calls, I realized they lost my bridesmaid dress. Over the next week, I called the store daily trying to find an answer about my dress. The owner continually assured me we had "plenty of time" and that he would call me tomorrow with news. 2 weeks before the wedding, I called the store 7 TIMES IN 4 HOURS before I finally was able to track down my dress. The owner of the store had started ignoring my calls, until I threatened to come to the store and arrange a sit-in until he could tell me where my dress was. 6 days before the wedding, I arrived at the store to pick up my dress, only to find that nobody was there. I arrived (from Concord) at 10:15. The posted store hours said 10-4, but the owner did not show up until 11am. I am truly surprised this store are still in business.

We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the amazing woman working in the store that day (this past Monday, January 25th). But..we were literally speechless upon entering the store because it was so beautiful, we almost couldn't respond to her. The clothing, accessories, bath soaps and exquisite bath salts, everything is laid out so exquisitely. You can look through racks easily, try on scents as needed, (the Kai perfume...perfection), and so much space to walk around and browse, without feeling crowded. Plus...the two fitting rooms are so pretty and sooo spacious, you can comfortably try on clothes without feeling like half your body is hanging outside the curtain (an issue in some boutique shops). I wish I lived much closer...but...thankfully I can shop Bella Funk online. But if you are anywhere close to Littleton, this is a MUST VISIT!!! And they are about 5 minutes off Route 93. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Bella Funk for setting the bar on a super cool women's boutique store and setting the bar so high on the the type of amazing customer service we don't always get, but now should know to expect, (because of you) from boutiques.

Neither parties must know what designer clothes sell for because I felt robbed. I "earned" back around $370 for: 2 Chanel Sandals (org $2600) 1 Valentino Rockstudd ($1200) and several items such as real leather dress, brand new denim and whatever else that was kept as I never received any kind of invoice. A Helmut Lang sweater was returned without a belt and Jill Sanders faux fur cardi with a huge rip under the arms inseam. The collection sells contemporary fashion and basic brands. Not sure it deserves "designer" status as stated. Owner seems to use the place as her own deals for shopping over the clients interest and seems to not have a handle on inventory and staff. I do not recommend this establishment for designer resale.

I was watching her and it was absolutely comical and so obviously an act. I let her continue for a bit. She never uttered a word to me while I was there. I had already picked up a brooch and had my card in my hand when she got to the counter. I finally told her that "I was, I was going to purchase the brooch and set it down and left. We purchased a sweater that was marked down and on the tag it has sweater VNK PNL hole. I should have realized that meant PIn hole, but did not. The employee did not alert us at the time of purchase. I took the sweater back and gave them a heads up that I would be purchasing something else of much greater value, but they only offered to have it fixed. I understand that was a fairly reasonable offer, but this was a present for someone to be given tomorrow. The manager seems short sighted given the option to make a sale of three times the value, they would rather upset me for $50 and the conviction not to return. The fudge is to die for and they have so many different flavors to choose from. The shop also sells NH and NH made novelty items... maple syrup, tea, soy candles, chocolates, T-shirt's, sweaters, mugs, body scrubs, popcorn, etc. Although you have lots to choose from and the fudge is amazing... the best part is the warm and friendly service we received even before getting out of our car. The owner was extremely warm and helpful... and customer service is number one in my book! He mentions he will be expanding services even more in the months to come. And I can't wait to be back to have some tea while getting a foot massage and eating some fudge! If you're in the area, passing by, or even if you're not in the area... add this little hidden gem to your list of stops to make. You won't regret it!

The previous reviewer (Angela S.) really nailed it. Granite Life is great! We were on a mission…read morefrom my grandmother to find a rock. She's very picky--you'd think that a rock wouldn't be hard to find in the Granite State, but she had stipulations. Plus, it had just snowed about 3 feet, so any rocks that might around sure weren't visible. So, we called around to a few places to ask about rocks. We got a lot of puzzled looks (through the phone), until we reached George. He said, "Well... sure we have rocks. Are you staying Steele Hill Resort?" We were. "Okay, come by tomorrow, and I'll have a couple rocks for you." So, we went. The shop was clearly closed for the winter season, but we called George and he can down from his home (on the same property) and gave us a selection of rocks from the boundary wall of his property. We tried to give him some money, but he refused. We told him thanks and that we would have to come back sometime to check out his shop. He asked if we wanted to check out the candy, and we said, okay, if not too much trouble. Nothing was too much trouble for George. He opened up the shop, told us about how it was a labor of love for him and his family, lots of local goods, including maple syrup from the farm up the street. And fudge, all sorts of different, delicious fudge. They also had plenty of novelty gifts, hand-screened sweatshirts and t-shirts, and a little coffee nook overlooking the fields and lake in the distance (can't remember if we could see the lake--but it was there!). Needless to say, we couldn't help ourselves from picking up a few souvenirs and happily supporting a local business and businessman who obviously cared about his customers and how he treats them. We can't say enough nice things about Granite Life--friendly, convenient if you're in the area, wide selection of souvenirs with local flare, and just a generally good vibe to take home with you. Highly, highly recommended. Oh, and Gramma liked the rock--not too flashy, but she loved the story and the history of it. Mostly, she liked that we made the effort to find what she wanted--thanks, George.
