Pay rate is too low in my opinion. As someone who knows an individual with over 15 years of experience in the security field, I felt this was indeed a complete joke! The commute was long and this place works you like a dog! The atmosphere is okay, but I felt it was not welcoming. Apparently, you have to pay for your work uniforms. The amount of disrespect towards someone in my life says a lot about USI as a whole. Don't go promising your employees a decent pay raise and holiday bonus if it's not even gonna a happen. Living on USI paychecks is something I would not ever want. It's not enough to get by - let alone pay bills or even a mortgage. Honestly, I would never recommend USI to anyone seeking a job in the Security field. They switch your worksite last minute and the communication is horrible. There are so many other security jobs out there - with better pay, a welcome atmosphere, amazing communication, and all around decency.
