Always have liked this one. It's smaller than a lot of locations. You'll find a more personal service. The employees here are quite friendly and professional. Hours are like banking, but that's the story of every USPS. This one isn't as well known, so I like that when shipping, or getting stamps and such. Parking is a nightmare. You're going to get bunched in here. That's just the nature of this strip mall. I wish you patience and good luck. Best bet is park behind the Mexican restaurant. The pleasant folks and not long lines, do make this more bearable. read more

It's a disgrace the way this US post office flys the United States flag at night, in the dark. The Flag Code states it is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flag staffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed 24 hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness. The American Legion interprets " proper illumination" as a light specifically placed to illuminate the flag (preferred) or having a light source sufficient to illuminate the flag so it is recognizable as such by the casual observer. read more

I have been coming here for years and the man at the front, Mike, has the worst attitude and absolutely zero customer service skills. One time, fine, maybe you're having a bad day, but to be constantly treating customers badly for YEARS, you just need to find a new job then. 2 stars only cause there's another man who works here who is hilarious and such a nice guy. Always a bummer to walk in and see that he's not there. Go to the one on Burke Rd instead, they're much, much better. read more

I love the post office at Fairfax Station they're fast and friendly! The average wait time here is not as long as the typical PO. However, they could use an electronic kiosk for self service. Waiting in line to buy a book of stamps is so 1990's! Oh better yet..just but stamps at home at www.usps.com ! =P read more

I am waiting for my Blood Pressure medicine since 7/3/2020. That is what my tracking said. When I checked tracking , it said my medicine is sitting in Fairfax Station (800-275-8777) since 7/8 with no activity. Today is 7/13, checked this morning still no activity. Try to stay away doing business with this shit hole. I called 2 times, with no help, could not get thru this black Hole. My pressure is going thru roof. read more

Ridiculous policies for credit card use at this post office. Your credit card must be signed - wont accept ID instead - only if you sign the card. I want employees to ask for my ID, which is why I don't sign my cards. Policies like this are why the postal service is in financial trouble. Go to the one on Burke Rd instead. Much better service there. Update... I have since had two packages shipped using this office that have "disappeared." Always get a recipt from this location and track your packages. read more
