People rag on bureaucracies and government agencies, but this location has done me a solid on a couple of different occasions by letting me pick up or mail packages, even though I've shown up a couple of minutes after the stated closing time. Yes, the lines can get long, and there are sometimes only 1 or 2 people working the window, but all of the workers have been really friendly and helpful, in my experience. Once last week and again today, the red flag was in upright position & ignored. Today, the carrier piled incoming mail on top of my outgoing mail. This caused me to drive to the post office. Also, this carrier often leaves mail hanging out of the mail deposit slot. Easy for someone else to see and grab. read more

Reoccurring issue. Lazy driver refuses to deliver mail or packages if any cars are near my mailbox. I have a lot of Ring videos proving this. Mailbox is absolutely NOT blocked. So I read the actual USPS policy and here it is. LAZY!!! Gucky! According to USPS policy, "If a vehicle is blocking a mailbox, the mail carrier is expected to get out of their vehicle and deliver the mail, even if it's temporarily obstructed". read more

Apparently our mail person doesn't know how to shut the lid on our box out next to the road. Or anyone else's boxes down the street. It's no wonder people are missing stuff. All a man would have to do is just drive slow & stop for but a second & take everything out because it's in plain sight for anyone to see. I've called numerous times to ask the person in charge to please tell the carrier to shut the mailbox door. When Denise was our carrier, we NEVER had a problem. Don't know if she quit, got fired or moved to different route, but I sure miss her. I'm not the only one on our street frustrated with it. I'm just bold enough to put it out there on the WWW for everyone to see. Please, please shut the mailbox lid/door or whatever it's called. It's getting old. read more

Holy cow. I came here to mail a Christmas package with my sister...and they actually had 3 PEOPLE working. All hope is not lost.

As stated by other reviewers, the staff is very friendly, quick and efficient! I put off going to the post office for several weeks because I dread the long lines and sullen postal workers I've come to know at the Downtown Tulsa Post Office. What a different experience! Very sweet staff, always helpful and patient. Lines are always a bit long but I'm sure that's the case at most larger city post offices.

This is the closest post office to our house. Every time I go in for something I always see friendly faces, but unfortunately our post man delivered our packages to the wrong address few times, and they never could figure it out how to fix it, we had to go to the wrong address to retrieve our package. I think it happens when our regular carrier is off. There is usually a pretty long line inside the post office, but it moves pretty fast. I just wish they would get better delivering packages. read more

This location has two of the rudest people I have ever met in my life working at the front counter. I run a business through poshmark and am allowed to use flat rate boxes with my labels. Until I moved to Broken Arrow I had shipped 400+ items and not had a single issue. Since these women have three times in a row refused to listen to me, I have been dealing with area managers, USPS help desks, and now have letters from the head of the USPS Strategic Accounts Manager explaining to these stupid women why my labels are still fine and they are still trying to argue with me that I am incorrect. I wish government employees could lose their jobs. The two women named "Debbie" who work here are very rude and unpleasant. They make me terrified to bring in my packages even when I have done nothing wrong. read more

Mail person was too lazy to place package on my front porch , package was too long for my mail box, he/she left it in there anyway. It stormed, heavy rainfall and you guessed it........ All my mail soaked, ruined. Maybe they should find a different line of work. read more

Walked in at 3:59, closed sign already up. A nice lady waiting said that they had just put it up and she was sure they would help me. Two stations both with customers. They had not shut down their equipment. The guy tells me they are closed but he can offer me an envelope. I told him I'd do it myself if I just knew what the postage would be. He told me I would have to go to the other location. It was 4:01 when I got back to my truck. He cost me 1 hour to save himself from 3:59 to 4:00. I don't know if it matters to them or not but I won't go back. I'm also not going to be silent anymore about the mail carrier laying on his horn in my driveway while my young children try to sleep so that he doesn't have to walk 10 steps to the door. I don't know what these people make, but I'd bet it's more than I do and I would lose my job if I operated that way. read more

I arrived at the Post Office prior to them closing (3:50). I picked out the packaging, put my stuff in, filled out shipping info, and got in line. By the time I made it up to the counter, it was just after 4, with more people behind me. The lady who was at the counter (Julia, I believe?) refused to give me service because I would have had to fill out like 10 lines of an customs form (it's literally this little half-page form where you just put your name/address, recipient name/address, and what you are sending). They were very clearly servicing the people behind me (3 people, if I recall correctly) and I could have easily filled out the form in the time it took for her to service the person behind me in line. She gave me a very condescending, "Sorry, hun, we open at 9 AM tomorrow." I told her, "I was in here before you all closed, but ok." I was angry, but knew it was pointless to argue with somebody who has that attitude towards "customer service" and just left. I've worked in both retail and restaurants in the past (service-oriented industries), where the rule was always to service those who were in the establishment prior to closing (which they closed everything down at 4 anyways, so no new patrons could enter). I then went to another USPS (South Tulsa, Sheridan), where I received great customer service. I will be doing my best to avoid this USPS in the future and I would also encourage others to seek out other locations. I'm sure people have had bad experiences at other locations as well, but this really left a bad taste in my mouth (enough to come on here). I have not had a bad experience at any of the other locations in the Tulsa area other than this one (Owasso, Claremore, Sheridan, Union). read more
