She's also great with e-mail communications and keeping her clients informed of what she needs from them and help coming up with a timeline for the wedding. Unfortunately she had a family emergency the day before and day of the wedding but her and her husband (her second photographer) were both still able to make it and we're both still very professional. They were able to have an upbeat attitude and were both so much fun. I got the photos back in about 4 weeks and they are amazing. I absolutely love them. The photos were the most important thing to me (besides getting married), and she didn't disappoint. I am so happy I splurged and picked Kiersten! We booked our family beach photo for July 2019 months in advance. We had 5 adults & 2 children…read more(4&8). Completed all paper work and paid deposit. We met at Henderson Beach State Park an hour before sunset. Hendricks charges $5 per car to enter. We had 2 cars. Upon meeting photographer Mari she told us that she had to rescheduled. She had accidentally left her camera equipment on her front porch. She said something about her dogs. She gave us $10 to cover our parking fee. We then discussed rescheduling. She mentioned sunrise or sunset. With small children we stayed with sunset. Keep in mind that our entire day had been planned around the photo session. We ended up rescheduling for July 4th. The only sunset slot she had available. Not really what we wanted to do on 4th of July. Mari mentioned "she would make it worth our trouble". At the rescheduled appointment it was raining. We where able to get photo session in. I had written out a check for balance but also brought another check because I assumed she would deduct something off of our balance due. When I asked her, she informed us that we would get a free 8x10. Seriously? My family and I all where surprised by this. When you pay over $700 for session and digital photos, we expected her to reduce the cost. We felt like we lost a day of our vacation due to rescheduling. Scheduling kids naps, dinner etc that normally would have been on such a tight schedule. Regarding the photos. Some photos are amazing and others the color is off. Some of the photos are teeth look yellow and the colors are way to bright. I believe it's the editing. We didn't have the selection of awesome photos I was expecting. I understand that mistakes happen. My thoughts are Mari didn't come close to making up for her forgetting her camera equipment and us having to reschedule by giving us an 8x10 photo!!

When we arrived, there were no s'mores and no cornhole. No design in the sand, like the other cute pics. It was quite basic. After asking about the s'mores, the attendant ended up going to the store and giving it to us with only 30 minutes left in the reservation. He said that cornhole was unavailable. For such a pricey service, we were left very underwhelmed. I ended up texting the support number, but never received a response. Based on the lack of follow up and general care with our reservation, I recommend going with another company.

Starting out with the patio light entrance and the nice comfortable beach chairs, to the two magnificent bonfires. We had S'mores and it was so fun roasting marshmallows again which I have not done for about three years. They had sparklers which was fun to watch and participate in. The ambiance was perfect for mingling and having fun. The young gentleman who was keeping the fires attended did a great job and he was very personable. I highly recommend this company for a wonderful beach bonfire experience.
