I have been going through my divorce and my first attorney screw me around and talked to Mr. Kelly and told me that he will not charge me for his first visit if I give my business to him. He required $3500 retainer fee which was higher than other law firm and attorney in town. I needed good representation so, I have hired him. After 2 week later, I got invoice and surprised me with his bill. He charged me over $700 for his initial visit which supposed to be free. Further, in one month he billed me almost $4000. It was not even trial. He sent me same document in email as an attachment and without my knowledge; he also sent me mail via USPS postal. He charged me $500 and $400 and many other charges just mailing a package. I got ripped off by this attorney. I would not recommend any one. My experience was terrible with this firm. Hire him if you have lots of money. I totally agreed with Teresa H., his staff was really rude as well. I end up switching a different attorney. "Everyone Careful about GOOGLE Review about this firm. Kelly Shattuck is a horrible lazy excuse of a man and a bad representation of lawyers everywhere. IF YOU ARE A GAY COUPLE STAY AWAY! We went to him because I read some good reviews. READ THE BAD REVIEWS!. My wife works as a paralegal and wanted to keep her stuff private and away from an amazing law team ( bad move) We went to him for help basing it off the good reviews. My wife did all the leg work, EVERYTHING! And he only met with us 2 times as my wife eventually just did the paper work herself and found herself still paying an arm and a leg just because his paralegal worked slow and he still charged for the WORK MY WIFE DID! I can't speak for anyone else in that office but when it comes to him and his paralegals they ARE LAZY, at the end my wife could have done it her self. We should have stuck with Dornan Law team! They care about their customers and bend over backwards to help. We don't mind having to pay whatever it took to get what we wanted but for a lazy piece of trash like Kelly Shattuck to do this is disgusting. 100% advice you to stay away from him.
