We came on a sunny sunday and expected a full lot. But surprisingly it was almost empty at around11.30am. There are some free parking lots, but they are pretty busy and also further away. I don't mind to pay a few Euros and just get it done with. Paid under 9 Euros here for 4.5 hours. Fair price for a popular town. The parking lot feels safe, it's easy to get to and also easy and quick to get out of town and back on the Autostrada. There's no shade, but the spaces are big enough to easily hold an SUV. Surely a great spot to park your car. Will park here again next time.

If you want to get as close to the town as possible, then this is the place to park your car in…read morePortofino. It's a lovely - ok a bit expensive - town and well worth a visit. Prices are on the high side with over 5 Euro an hour. But if you know that in advance - as we did - then there's not reason to get mad. You pay for the location, and that's fair enough. It's inside a building, so it's covered. But it's quite tight and narrow inside, so be careful when you go around corners. Not every spot will fit your car. Be aware that there is also a sub-level, which many miss (and just keep going up). We had a mid-sized SUV and did ok. I've even seen a Ferrari. So if this guy can do it, you can do as well. From here it's only a few steps to the town and waterfront. If we're back in Portofino one day, we will park here again. Payment is by cash or credit card.

We did stay in town for over a week. Parking was not available at our rental apartement (near the…read moreport). So we chose to park the car here. It was only a few minutes away by foot - and the old town you also can reach in about a 10min walk. So it has a pretty good location. The few parking spots at the street near the ocean are often completely busy. But here we have always found a spot to park. On weekdays it was pretty empty, busier on weekends, but still with empty spots. Only on a saturday when there was a Regatta going on it was pretty much full - still managed to get a spot. It is definitely a very clean, very safe and very spacious carpark - on several levels. Some sections are reserved for residents, but they are clearly marked. The spots have a really good size, no problems to park an SUV. The whole carpark is built very nice and wide, no problems to turn and to go around the corners. Parking fee is max. 30 Euros for 24 hours. Which is fine for this location. And it really is a safe spot, like I said. BMWs, Audis, Porsches, Range Rovers....even a McLaren was parked here! We were really happy with this parking solution for our vacation. Easy to find, good location, easy to park. You can pay the fee with card or cash, just keep the ticket to scan and pay before leaving. Works very well - only the elevator was out of service when we've visited. There are bathrooms on site as well (you'll need your ticket to enter). Surely we'll park here again next time in town.
