a menu for a mexican restaurant

This was a rockstar of a discovery on our Friday night. We ventured to Riverview and what brought us to this area were the Colombian Cholado's(fruit salads) at Frutella. This truck caught my eye and I knew we had to try it. I asked a couple who was eating their food about this place and they loved their churrasco and picanha. We chose the churrasco because the guy who worked there said both are excellent and the difference is the churrasco is very juicy and has less fat. The churrasco was a great choice. Ordered a 1/2 pound with two sides - papas criollas (mini yellow potatoes) and fried yuca and split this w/ my hubby. We loved it and it was sooo sooo good. Still dreaming of this meal here and happy too that we split it. Everyone who worked here was very nice. They have picnic tables here and green turf. They don't have shade here. We ate our food at Frutella and ordered are cholado there as well!! This area has four food trucks - a place with sandwiches, Frutella, this truck, and a Mexican food truck. Don't hesitate stopping here!

This is our second time ordering from this place and it has been positive. Their meat is always tender and juicy. Their sauces are fire and must- haves. Their sides are also really delicious but the portion is a little small. Out favs are def picanha and chorizo. It might take some time to get your food but it's totally worth it. Will return for sure.

    Picanha, beans, and maduros

What a fun little area with multiple food choices and what looked like a dessert spot. I personally only went for Vacunos but there were tacos it looked like and a couple other choices. I was hungry one night and didn't feel like cooking and this little hidden gem was about a 10 min drive from me. I really wasn't sure what to expect but I saw charcoal and meat and I was sold (from Yelp). Was not at all disappointed!! I ended up going with the picanha (1/2 lb) with a side of beans and of course, maduros (sweet plantains, my favorite). I took this to go, but they do have outdoor seating, like little patio benches that was pretty spacious. It is right next to a gas station but the ambiance was still very inviting. Service was quick and friendly! The meat was cooked to absolute perfection as I had asked for medium rare and got just that. The maduros were insanely good and the black beans were seasoned perfectly. I will say it's slightly pricey for the portion of meat, but the sides made up for that and really, the meat was perfect. I would definitely come back here to try some other cuts of meat in the future!

Great food and service!! The food was absolutely delicious and very casual atmosphere since it's outside. I had the bowl with churrasco (skirt steak). My husband had the picana (sirloin) with white rice and black beans. Lunch or dinner the food was delicious and not heavy. We will be back!

My wife and I absolutely love this place and at this point, it's safely in our regular rotation…read more I usually go straight for the shrimp tacos, and they never disappoint. They're packed with flavor, cooked just right, and somehow hit that perfect balance of fresh and satisfying. Pair that with their rice and refried beans, which are way better than your typical "side dish afterthought" and it turns into one of those meals you think about later in the day. I've also had their birria tacos, and those deserve their own moment. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of messy that's 100% worth it. You know it's good when you stop talking mid-bite just to focus. My wife is just as loyal to her favorites, the sopes and tostadas. She swears by them, and after trying a bite (or a few... for research purposes), I get it. They're loaded, fresh, and clearly made with love. Overall, this is one of those spots where everything just works. Great food, consistent quality, and the kind of place you end up recommending to friends without even thinking about it. Highly recommend, we genuinely love this place and will definitely keep going back.

Attended for the first time and was a nice local event!…read more 5/5 Location Amenities Located within Riverview's Summerfield Crossings Golf Course on the first Friday of each month. The parking by the clubhouse was ample. They had young teenage parking attendants directing traffic, however the kids weren't paying good attention and I was concerned for their safety a bit. Behind the clubhouse you take a short walk to the bordering course. Smack in the middle of a huge course, so plenty of room for trucks organized in a U-shape. Plenty of tables and chairs setup in the middle. Others brought lawn chairs and blankets to spread out. No real shade but not a concern much during evening hours. I didn't see portó potty's but that may be because the clubhouse bathrooms may have been available/open. My only negative was the amount of gnats!!! Next time we'll apply bug spray. It was after some area showers so maybe that brought them out? Quite annoying. It actually cut the visit short for us, but didn't seem to be annoying others as much. Lucky us the gnats liked our perfume or something so much, ugh! 5/5 Variety Dozen or so of food trucks with good variety... dessert, different ethnic cuisines as well as all American, and one alcohol dispensary (different beers etc). There were a few Vendor trucks in the middle that I believe may have been sponsors. 5/5 Activities and Overall Happy to report there was a DJ truck hyping up the event with music and activities like hot dog eating contest, and few more family friendly activities. Made it more enjoyable! Saw few people bring their dogs, others throwing a football... loved it! Magic question... yes, i'd definitely return! It was better than a typical food truck rally. Coming back... But with bug spray... and bringing puppy too =)
