WOW, integrity exists. I agree with Joy. WOW. My Miele vacuum head broke, which is very disappointing since this is the mac daddy of a vacuum. I had the choice of buying new or fixing. They quoted me $40 to fix so I took that option. Even with a great deal they offered me for a new head, $40 is much better. They even gave me a loaner head while mine was being fixed. That was a GREAT thing since it had been over a week of no vacuuming. It took a while for them to get the part, which was fine since I had a loaner. When I picked up the vacuum they said the price would now be $19.99 and not $40. WHAAAAAT???? Who does that? I was SHOCKED. That, my good YELP readers, is rare form these days. He could have easily charged what I had agreed to but instead he won a customer. THAT is a true WOW! I told him I was going to spread the good word of HONESTY regarding his service, so here I am. I was having trouble emptying my Dyson vacuum canister. I took it to another LV vacuum shop and was told that model was terrible and he couldn't open it. I went to Banks Oreck Vacuum. I was happily greeted by Sal. I told him what my problem was and what I had been told. He know where that comment face from. I have been buying Orecks for 17plus years and I must say this store has been the place where I have had the best experience hands down! The first 2 times I came in there, once for a vacuum cleaner and the other for air purifier, Kevin too a look at both and turned to be minor issues and fix them. On top of that he didn't charge me. I almost had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. Walked into Bank's Oreck, and a representative from the Midwest was there to greet and assist me. He assessed my needs by asking a few questions, then directed me to a couple of nice choices. I purchased a Royal Lexon S15, and can hardly wait to use it. There was a problem when I opened the box at home -- a wand and 3 or so key attachments were missing. I called, and Sevan handled the call courteously and displayed an interest in resolving the issue even though he stated that that model was sold out. He promised to work on getting the missing parts. Early the next week, I decided to return the unit as I really needed to vacuum my new home. Emily was working, and went over backwards to compensate for the inconvenience. She was willing to comply with the return, but asked if I would keep it if she found the parts. Then, taking a head from a floor model of a different Royal, and grabbing the other brushes and an even longer wand from around the store, she put together my package. It was even a bit better than the original would have been, but it was no problem for her. She even threw in a package of replacement bags for the trouble. We ran the vacuum to see if it worked, and it did. As mentioned, I almost pinched myself to wake up from the dream. The level of customer service is outstanding here. Took our Oreck sweeper in for repair. Kevin was working and said he'd take a look at it, but they don't have parts for our model. He called within an hour to say motor was really straining and overheating due to prolonged clog. We went back to store and bought a model Kevin recommended. He was very friendly and helpful. Kasey was incredibly kind and helpful. He really went above and beyond to help us. The associate that sold me my vacuum did not put me into the system and instead of it being a headache, he helped fix the problem and then some. My aunt loves her Oreck upright so I have always took care of it so about a week or so ago it got clogged so I unclog it Like always and I noticed the brush was worn out and the belt needed changing too so I went to vegas vac got the parts and replaced em myself...! So then we get a free tune up coupon for this store and so we took it in because she said she wants the free tune up BAD IDEA we got there ands some short grouchy guy comes out the back and seeing the coupon was immediately disappointed anyway we asked to use it and he says let me guess you want the free service? Duh you send coupon out so yes like long story short this is a SCAM SCAM SCAM he says 24-48 for pick up but called my aunt the same day saying she needs 60.00 in parts!!! You guessed it he recommended a new brush roll a new belt and said the base plate was warped all of which I personally replaced 1 week ago!!!! Bought a new Oreck Vacuum to replace one of my 15 y/o upright Oreck Vacuum at this store. Didn't even give the salesperson a hard time. He took my old -for recycling and gave me some small discount. Somehow I'm concerned because I've been smelling something like a burnt wire or rubber while I'm vacuuming (with the new)so I turned it in two months after (when I had a chance) then they called me back and relentlessly and argument-ably said that my vacuum is literally falling apart, cord was broken bumpers broken, vacuum bag shaft/ whatever inside holder is missing etc etc. But I was vigilant and knew that what they were saying was untrue. They talked while I talked, then handed me to another person for me to relay the message again. They told me it will cost me 195.00 ish or something to repair. I kept telling them over and over that my vacuum was new and have been used for about 4 times only since I bought it. They argued and said there must be another person using my vacuum. They won't listen, but defensively argued. I kept telling them I've never replaced the bag yet, so how can it be broken. I said that it doesn't even sound like my vacuum at all. Then they decided to check in the back and found out and realized they were referring to someone else's vacuum. Had they listened first, and checked if they were maybe at fault, it would have saved all the aggravation and their time. My point is, they have poor customer service. They were rude and argumentative to their clients. They chuckled and said sorry for the mistake. When I came to pick it up, the guy asked me what my name was, went to a bunch of files and said 'What's your name again' ?! Then he couldn't find the file right away. They handed me my vacuum, and I was just about to run away from this place, but the guy said 'Wait I have to give you your receipt. I asked what was wrong with it, and as he was explaining about the belt and some things gets jarred inside the vacuum and while I was looking at his demo, he says 'Look at me!!. Sure they fixed what needs to be fixed. It's a brand new vacuum bought from them. I used to go to another Oreck shop on Stephanie where people were polite and respectful. Unfortunately there's not many Oreck store in town. But I would never go back to this place again. read more

Beware!!! Went to this place to get a cord for my electrolux vacuum and lets just say I DIDNT get it. They told me that the cord for my vacuum isnt made anymore, so I should maybe get a new one. I guess all their customers must be rich cause I dont have 400 hundred dollars laying around to get a new vacuum. After alittle research I actually found the cord for my vacuum online. SO I GUESS IT IS MADE STILL! Theses people probably work on commission so the more they sell the more they make. There is no reason to lie to the customer!!! I'll stick to buying online! read more

I was very disappointed to find that Bank's Oreck Vacuum is not truly open until 6:00 p.m. I arrived today at 5:50 to drop off my vacuum to find the door locked though the open sign was still on. Displayed in the window is a sign with the hours of operation which lists the hours as 9:00-6:00 daily. After knocking several times, I called Bank's Oreck where I spoke to the manager who told me that if there are no customers in the store, they close at 5:50. I informed the manager that I was a customer and it was currently 5:54, and according to their open sign and their hours of operation they were still open. He still insisted he would not open the door for me, and that he had already closed the register so he could not help me!!! Don't intend on patronizing Bank's Oreck Henderson again any time soon!! Bob checked me in to have my Hoover Pet Care Carpet Cleaner repaired under warranty. Hoover referred them to me otherwise I would never have known about them. All I needed was the machine and the original receipt. Bob said they would clear warranty coverage with Hoover and fix it as soon as the parts came in. Soon after, Josh called to give me an update and within a week or two Hoover had sent a brand new machine in a new box. Josh called to tell me I could pick it up anytime with no charges. He explained Hoover didn't have the part and it was just cheaper for Hoover to send a new unit instead of having it fixed. Makes sense in a disposable world. Josh is honest, knowledgeable, patient, and sincere. I'm sure my Hoover carpet cleaner will break again in the near future, I will certainly bring it back to the crew at Banks Oreck in Henderson, NV! Went in today as we haven't had a good vacuum, ever. So we decided to get ourselves an Oreck and this was the closest store to our house. We were greeted immediately upon entry, but not all "in your face" about it like you would think a place that sells vacuums would be, but i was pleasantly surprised. They helped us choose one that was actually cheaper than the one we were looking at online and had more features which was nice. We picked up a few other things like bags and some carpet cleaner spray and we were on our way! All three gentleman that helped us were very nice and to the point, not a lot of fluff which I personally really like. We will be back in about 6 months to get the tuneups that come with the vacuum. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a serious vacuum (they have more than Orecks as well). read more

Quite some time ago I brought my Oreck 21XL in for its service after Oreck had closed its locations in all of Las Vegas / Henderson. I told the woman at the counter that it needed its annual tune up which was suppose to be for 21 years from date of purchase. I showed her the paper copy showing my service records and she promptly told me that this is no longer covered under the warrantee because it hadn't seen service in well over a year. I tried to explain to her that I was not able to do bring the vacuum in because there were NO Oreck dealers in the entire valley although she would not listen and kept interrupting me stating that it wasn't serviced. I'm not sure which bothered me more her complete ignorance to the FACT if there is no service available it can not be serviced or her arrogance in not paying attention to fact. As a consumer I certainly do not need attitude when trying to have what should have been a warranteed item which they refused to honor ! read more

Recently I bought a MIELE VACUUM CLEANER from BANK'S ORECK in Henderson Nevada. MIELE VACUUM CLEANERS are made in Germany. I bought a MIELE that is used for hard floors, not carpets. This MIELE VACUUM CLEANER is amazing. The first day that I used it I vacuumed my living room, dining room, and kitchen in 10 minutes. I only had the vacuum suction gage on medium, because the vacuum suction on medium is still very strong. If you need a super strong vacuum suction, then put the vacuum suction gage on high. I like that the MIELE has vacuum bags. My last vacuum cleaner had washable parts and no vacuum bags. Washable parts sounds like a good idea; but it became an inconvenience and a hassle to have to wash the vacuum parts all the time, and then find a place to dispose of the dirt. The MIELE vacuum bags last a long time before they are full; and when full you just dispose of the bag with no bothersome washing of parts. When I operate the MIELE I can tell that it is a well built and durable vacuum cleaner. The best aspect of the MIELE is that it does a fantastic job vacuuming; it picks up even the smallest dust particles and leaves your floors looking brand new. Also, the MIELE has a 5 year parts and labor warranty, and a 10 year motor warranty. MIELE VACUUM CLEANERS are at the top of the line in vacuum cleaner quality and efficiency. The Sales and Service staff at the Henderson BANK'S ORECK are very friendly, helpful and competent.
