Complementary mimosa
Trevor L.

I had zero complaints! Appointment is recommended due to the COVID and also the long wait to get serviced. Upon entry, they check your temperature, sanitize your hands, and make a note of the type of service you're looking for. My sis and I got seated afterwards and received our complimentary mimosa . The lady servicing my feet was very nice, thorough, and did a great job! Everything had its place and well organized. Very relaxing atmosphere and very upscale feeling lol. If you're in the area, check this place out!

Shellac. Uneven and dirty
Hanna D.

The first time that I was there I had a wonderful experience. The second time wasn't so great. Even so, I think that it's worth a try. I first got my powder manicure and pedicure there in January. The people who helped were both so friendly and cheerful. The quality of their work was also really pretty. I got ombré white and lavender with glitter. Cost about $100 in total for that and a regular pedicure with regular polish. Kinda pricey because it wasn't even a manicure, the guy didn't take care of my cuticles at all. The second time I came for a refill, another girl asked if I wanted shellac over it. I decided to give it a try. It came up uneven and did not look good at all! 2 days later the paint chipped. Another 2 days later the shellac paint turned brown. It took around a week for the nails to fall off my real nails. They have a beautiful establishment with nice decor, spacious and clean area, and complimentary drinks. It's worth a try if you're in the area!

Shellac mani- $28

I can see why this place has great reviews. I had Katelyn do my manicure and Justin with my pedicure. Both of them were excellent to work with and were gentle with my hands & feet which I appreciate. It was $32 for a classic pedicure (the most basic you could say) and it was great! Mani was just as great. I added a little bit of glitter to my nails which is super subtle. They were clean and I was done within the hour with both services. They offer a complimentary drink and have plenty of seating inside. I didn't like not being acknowledged when I got here (I arrived and no one came to the front for about five minutes until someone else came through the door after me... then someone came to the front). Customer service could use some work but the nail techs are great and I'd recommend both!

Getting nails done here is a treat! They have a nice selection of complimentary drinks to choose from. My nails are done well and last until my next trip with no breaking or chipping.

Nail tech did a great job on the left replicating what I wanted from Pinterest.

I had an an appointment for my mani and pedi service. My temperature was taken and I was directed to fill out a form in regards to Covid-19 to include my personal contact information. My nail technician did a wonderful job replicating a picture I showed her. I came for a fill for a full set that I got done less than a month ago, but the tech advised that I need a new full set. I don't know what I was thinking when I allowed her to do it. My pedi service was great as well from another tech. I specifically asked for a regular polish, instead my toes were treated to a gel polish. I know why I didn't stop both when I should have..it was late and I was exhausted from Thanksgiving. I do like my nails. But not the amount of money I wasn't expected to spend.

I've been a customer for 10 years. Love this place. Clean. Chill. Consistent. Worth the wait/price.

We just moved here from out of state, and I really didn't know where to go and get my nails done, but Venice was a great option! It's super close to our house too which is a plus! You sign in with a paper of all the services you would like then you give it to the woman at the front desk. Once my name was called, Celine did my nails and did such a great job! She was super patient and she's definitely great at what she does! You can tell she takes pride in her work and she wants you to be satisfied before you leave. I would recommend her to anyone. She had great conversation as well. The prices were very reasonable here as well.

I don't usually get my nails done but do I enjoy a good pedicure with a nice massage. Venice nails is somewhere I have been going to for the past year because they do a great job at cleaning, shaping, and painting my feet. They also give an extensive, relaxing massage -- I always add 5 extra minutes. You also have the choice of free beverages (water, soda, coffee, wine, alcohol). Unrelated to the pedicure, I'm a huuuge fan of how organized they are when customers come in. You're greeted with a smiling face, asked to sanitize and fill out a short services form, and given a wait time. The 2 young ladies working the front desk are always SO sweet! Thanks for another great experience today, Venice nails.

You can see that everything was sticking to my nails!

I have been a loyal customer for approximately 2 years. I booked my appointments and quality of service was good. My appointments were scheduled every 3-4 weeks for works. I recently had my pedi done, only to find out 3 days later that my nail tech accidentally used the gel instead of regular nail polish. Everything was sticking to my toe nails. I had to use socks to sleep! I called them immediately and explained that due to my husband's surgery I could not go back in to get it fixed. When I went back after almost 3 weeks, I asked what could be done to make it right. The assistant mngr acknowledged the problem, but then came out and said they could do NOTHING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT! I suggested a discount for my new pedi, but the assistant manger was unwilling to make things right! This is how they treat loyal customers.

Stella was amazing! 10/10 recommend her for a pedicure she did PERFECT job. I will 100% be coming back and sending others here to her.

I asked for my nails to be painted to the nail bed (like their facebook posts), but I got what looks like a week of growth.

Venice Nails If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. Went in for the signature manicure and signature pedicure. The nail technician was soaking the shellac off of my nails during the pedicure. I felt a coldness leaking through the towel and lifted it to see that acetone was on my $75 pants. I asked for water to remove it. The woman said it wouldn't stain, the towel had to stay down and it was my fault for lifting it. I replaced the towel only to have two other spots. I again asked for water and the technician acted like she didn't understand me AGAIN. She gave me the foot sprayer to remove the acetone and asked if my pants were okay. I let her know they were ruined. Onto the manicure. I asked for a trim. They are short. I had to push back my own cuticles. This lady is trying to lose business for Venice Nails, I guess. These are my natural nails. I asked to be painted to the nail bed and around the edges, so it will last. I came out looking like I'd had a week of regrowth. See pictures from RIGHT AFTER leaving. When it was time for the massage, the technician knew English all of a sudden, snidely commenting, "Move forward, wouldn't want it on your pants." And "Are you sure you want the massage?" "Yes. I'm paying for it," was my response. She then mixed the scrub and lotion, leaving grit up to my short sleeves. Wow. I was told to clean up, so I gave my arms a bath in the sink since the technician left me DIRTY. I won't be back. Back to supporting small businesses. And no bottled water? This is unheard of.

The "coffin" set from Venice nails
Samantha C.

I have gone to this salon for years and ever since renovated it's all about quantity and not quality. I went in yesterday for a fill and asked for a coffin shape and it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had. JOHN T did a sloppy job and could not give me the shape I desired. I was so horrified I just wanted to get out of there. I paid for the bad manicure and left. Went straight to another salon to see if they could repair my nails. When I called Venice today the girl I spoke to was very rude and said "well I don't know what you want me to do about it. You left." It's not about getting my money back. It's about being courteous to your clients. After years of a good standing relationship. I will never return to Venice Nails and I encourage people to stay away. Although the salon that redid my nails was amazing. Square Nails and Spa located on Culebra.

End up a simple design, just rhinestones cause the tech "Nhi" doesn't know how to do draw
Beverly M.

My 1st visit here cause I saw good reviews on Yelp, however I'm kinda disappointed with the 2nd tech which her name was Nhi who couldn't do the most simple nail design ( see 1st pic), she attempted 3x's & gave up! I got a freaking scrub! I ended up with rhinestones which I could've done it myself! Anyways my 1st tech Simon did my pedicure & did a good job, that's why I gave 3 stars. Also the $10 tip was meant for Simon, instead it was split $8 for Simon/$2 tip for Nhi, if I knew that Nhi would have 50¢ tip only, she had a shitty attitude & a no talent nail tech, just saying!

Ask the Community - Valencia Nails Spa

How much for a full set with shellac polish?

I believe $45.00. You might want to call to be sure could be less.

Do they use Japanese gel (Korist)? Or is it strictly shellac and NextGen and solar?

Do they do just a gel overlay? If so, how much?

Are the NexGen nails dipped or painted? My concern is the unsanitary use of dipping in same powder as others have dipped in.

Yes they are dipped in the same powder.

Does this place sell gift cards or gift certificates?

They do sell gift cards.

How much for a shellac manicure?

I believe it's $35

With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

They were kind, professional, and made me feel cared for. I would return to them in a heartbeat if they were at any other med spa. But my experience with Naz, the injector, was the complete opposite, and I feel truly betrayed. I trusted her, and that trust was shattered. I was never clearly told what everything would cost or how much filler she planned to use. I walked out having been injected with what I was later told was around 8 vials of product -- far more than I ever agreed to or even imagined was appropriate. Over 6k! I kept trying to explain the subtle, natural look I wanted, and I felt completely ignored. Right now, I look in the mirror and I barely recognize myself. My face looks overfilled and unnatural, like it's full of product I never wanted. The bruising is severe and still hasn't gone down even after four days. I can't describe how upsetting and humiliating this has been. I feel taken advantage of -- emotionally, financially, and physically. If you're considering this place, my honest advice is this: Only go to Stadia Med Spa for facials and laser treatments. Stay far, far away from their injector, Naz. I never want anyone else to feel the shock, regret, and heartbreak I'm dealing with right now.
