Not inexpensive (same price range as Marc by Marc Jacobs and similar), but the shoes are designed and fabricated in France, not mass-produced. The owner was there when I stopped in, and she was very welcoming. She has a small atelier in the back of the boutique and it was interesting to see the works in progress.
In addition to the sabots mentioned by the other reviewer, there were also cork and wood heeled wedge sandals of various heights in neutral colors with metallic accents. The bags, made from pebbled leather, were more colorful (teal, olive, dark red). She also carries a range of small leather goods.
Sorry if this sounds like an ad - it's not! It is just nice to find things that are bit different from what most of the other boutiques seem to be carrying.
The boutique is only open W-Sat , from 11-7 (I think?) - so it's worth a call before going to be sure that it's open. read more
