After I looked at his Yelp page, I agreed to have him do the repairs. Eric Laettner's Mobile Mechanic Service was excellent! I posted what I needed on Yelp at 2:20 pm. We agreed to have him do the work. He let me know he was finishing another job and would be here in the late afternoon. He showed up and had already picked up the parts he might need. He had my car up off the ground, removed all four tires, and checked them. Checked brake pads, rotors, and connections he could see. He completed the work at about 9 pm. -From posting the request for repairs to finishing was in a 7-hour time frame! -I didn't need to drive to a repair shop. -He explained the process and handled my questions. -My cost was 50% less than what I was quoted at the local repair shops. -This was my first time using a mobile service for mechanical work. I opted out of the trunk and exterior cleaning. Took 1.5 hours and was $250. The price was standard for the area, not really a bargain or overcharge. It was over the estimated price. The bad: there are two small burn marks in one of the seats that were not there before. I wouldn't have been too upset if they had said anything but failed to mention it. Blackstone Ave. The prices are the same as other places that conduct oil changes in the area. A big difference is that you can drive through and depending on what time of day and if they're not busy, you should be done in like 15 to 20 minutes. I was in and out the Manager on duty Joey even came out and assisted with my car due to. It's a smaller vehicle and requires some extra assistance for maintenance. This is the first time that I ever experienced a manager actually in introducing themselves during an oil change so I appreciated that and I'm sure other customers do as well. I also had got the replacement of the car engine filter. Thank goodness they had the engine filter in stock. Overall, I was highly pleased with the services provided to my vehicle. I will be returning in the near future for updated maintenance.
