"Out of order", and the other said, "for paying customers only." While my daughter is dancing behind me. I ask which is it? Out of order or paying customers? Flat answer, "paying." Look at my daughter, "go I'll buy a drink." I was now worried my friend who was unbuckling a toddler from her car seat would be treated as a separate customer. They hissed under their breath the two cashiers at the register but didn't address us about it. We all went in the pungent and filthy restroom. I was last and as I washed my hands thinking the door is locked a man props it open. When I leave I inspect the door to find out the lock doesn't work. Make your kids go when you stop at clean rest stops, gas stations, or you'll end up at a horrid place like this.

This Shell station is OK in terms of stops. It's not too grubby and has a selection of road food and drinks. The bathroom is odd in that it has black fixtures, but things seem to be relatively clean. The Dickey's BBQ adjoining the place makes it all smell heavenly. I stop here when nature calls and/or I need a snack.
