What a great brewery and an awesome find in Drumheller the young lady that was working was very friendly and very attentive and enjoyable to talk to. I enjoyed the Ablaze, which is a smoked pale logger light smoky flavor, along with notes of honey and a happy finish. That's not overly bitter. I also had a Schwartz beer called Miners. It had a great dark color and had flavors of coffee, coffee, cocoa, and dark chocolate. It finished quite dry and was very tasty. Next, I had a West Coast pale ale called Mesozoic. It definitely had some of the piney resinous flavor. But it only 40 IBU it was approachable and downright good. Finally was a coffee lager called Devils Row. This is a collaboration between the Friendly Folk, Coffee Roasters and Valley Brewing. Holy mackerel. It was good. Perfect coffee flavors on a crisp light lager. Everything you could ever want in a beer. I hope to venture back someday and check out Valley once again. read more

Excited to stop in for a flight after a long day of hiking and exploring. Tried the following seven.. ranked in order of favourites: May Day Cherry Sour Fortitude Cherry Apple Cider May Day Strawberry Rhubarb Sour (I think it was this one!?) Discovery Mixed Berry Ale Namesake IPA Devils Row (coffee) Capstone (pilsner) They had lots of options for non alcoholic drinks for our littles. No kitchen but have some snacks available. Service was awesome. Atmosphere great - sat outside under an umbrella. Lots of lights. And a dinosaur nearby. Lots of parking available when we were there (street) Great merch too! Took the kids to Drumheller to see all of the dinosaur stuff. One evening needing some much needed adult time we all headed over to Valley brewing for a pint. This is by far one of the nicest breweries I have ever been to personally. The patio is a volunteer based patio and the people in their community did an amazing job. I would have liked to of tried many of their other beers but the Virtue IPA was so good I didn't get a chance to try any of the others. One thing to know about this place is they do not have a kitchen and do not offer food, but what they do allow is for you to bring food from any other place and enjoy it with their beer on their patio, was a pretty cool idea. If/when we ever go back to Drumheller this is a must visit when we go back. read more

First of all, breweries normally a good choice. I did never regret this. Today we tried The Valley Brewery and we found the variety of beers, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff enjoyable . This place is super to hang out and have a delicious beer. Due to the huge variety there is a beer for every taste . They don't serve food but encourage people to bring their own food from nearby businesses . We had some food from Bernie and the Boys nearby to snack there. Thanks to the Staff and the skilled brewmasters making that delicious beer. Cheers Highly recommended! read more

Excelent place to taste a beer, I usually get bloated with Canadian beer but this place is just amazing none of their beers made me bloated, they have about 13 different beers to try, some are seasonal so u may not be able to try them again, they have a beautiful outside garden patio where you can sit and enjoy if they weather is nice!!! You can get the sample taste glasses where u can choose 4 different beers I think that's the way to do it unless u know what you like!! I will be stoping here every time I'm in Drumheller I just really love this place!!! read more
