Oh, where to begin? First off, if you're considering purchasing a home here, run for the hills! This has been the worst experience of my life. First off, I picked out a home that I liked, and it was put in layaway in June. During the time of layaway, I pointed out a few items that needed to be completed in order for me to move in and purchase. Fast forward to September, I made my final payment for the down payment two weeks early. But really they had three months to complete the repairs but of course didn't see it as a priority and did not complete them. THREE MONTHS. Three months they had to complete repairs. They failed to do so. Then a couple of days BEFORE I am supposed to move in, the "owner" decided that I had too big of a lot and needed to move my home (aka money hungry monsters). They swore up and down that it would not delay my move in. BULL. Then they said they would stain my decks and insulate my pipes for my troubles (it's January almost February my decks are still not stained). It took a month after paying my down payment in order for me to move in. A MONTH. Simply because they couldn't find the time to complete the repairs and waited until I was supposed to move in to move the stupid thing. Trust me, if I could have gotten out of this stupid purchase, I would've. But they waited until the last minute to tell me all of this to where I literally had nowhere else to go. They wedge my home in between two other homes to where I have hardly any yard. Which P.S. one of the reason I chose this home was due to the lot size. Bait and switch much? Finally the day I was supposed to move in! I loaded up my belonging and arrived to my new home. Only to discover that they completely ripped out the ceiling in the spare bedroom spreading debris all throughout the home, carpet not installed, and no electricity or I believe water. How did they expect me to live in this? Once again, three months to make their repairs. They failed to do so. It took another week in order to make it liveable. I had to move in with my parents in the meantime. Finally I get my title to my home, turns out they have a lean on it? Once again, not communicated to me at all during this process. I cannot move until the loan is completely paid off. What pisses me off about that, they charge a very very premium lot rent (almost double my actual mortgage) to be wedged in between two other homes with not much yard. WHAT AM I PAYING SUCH A HIGH PRICE FOR?! Furthermore, after you're stuck with this home, they hit you with all of the rules and regulations that you are required to follow or you will also get fined. I WOULD HAVE RAN FOR THE HILLS HAD I KNOWN ANY OF THIS INFORMATION!! Now, I've been living in this home for several months, my decks are still not stained. Pipes are probably not insulated. Repairs still not finished. AND they still have not paved me a driveway or walkway. I have to park in the driveway of the home next to me. Also, the property floods everytime there is the slightest precipitation (umm, welcome to Oklahoma?) So, once again, you're paying a very high lot rent for a literal swamp. I get ankle deep in mud every time I simply walk out of my home. It's too late for me. I'm stuck with this hell hole, but if you're reading this please get out while you can. The management team (Raelynn) does her best. But the corporation is money hungry and doesn't give one crap about you or your situation. They just want to screw you out of as much money as they can. Westwind, the owners, are nothing but horrible horrible people. Please don't move here. read more
