My oldest son was baptized here in 2000 and when my brother passed away in 1998, his mass services were held here as well as my dad's services last year. All 3 services were perfect and always made my heart feel close to God. There are many Catholic Churches around; however, there are 2 significant Catholic Churches in Delano and this is one of the 2 dominant churches that most of the Catholics attend. I've attended the other church on different occasions, but this church feels like home to me. I no longer live in Delano, but something about this church just makes me feel this is where I belong for masses. They have different times for English or Spanish mass. You should always call to get the correct time on mass because it may change depending if there's a holiday or something comes up. Right now the church is rebuilding due to an unfortunate event and currently mass is being held in the hall until it's complete. Parking can become a little of a nuisance at this time since they are rebuilding, but I don't think it will stay like that til the church is complete. This church is important to this community. It has been here for a really long time and it's a place for prayers, peace, serenity, love and to repent for your sins. No human is perfect, but when any Catholics need to go somewhere to feel close to God then I definitely recommend that you should attend one of the masses.

If learning the word is your goal, and even more important than that, applying the lessons you learn to your life you should worship here. The congregation is amazing. When anyone has a need everyone steps up to help. You will feel cared for and important no matter what your background is. I cherish this place. I am a better Christian because of what I've been taught here. Strictly Bible based I get Jesus in the raw here. No sugar coating, no soft fuzzy teachings. Join us soon.
