I was extremely disappointed with my experience…read more My wedding took place during the Formula 1 weekend in downtown Phoenix, so before our wedding day we specifically contacted the company to confirm they were aware of the road closures and that transportation to the ceremony would still be possible. We were assured that they understood the situation and would be able to complete the pickup. My cousin even provided their team with a map of where we were and road closures for any guidance (as a transportsion company they should be doing that, not the costumers!!) Despite those assurances, the bus never picked us up, and I ultimately had to walk through downtown Phoenix in my wedding dress to get to my ceremony. The most disappointing part was how this was handled afterward. It took nearly 3 months and multiple follow-up emails before I finally received a response. Rather than acknowledging that the communication before our wedding led us to rely on their assurances instead of making alternative arrangements, they denied any responsibility and declined to offer any form of goodwill compensation, even though I never requested a full refund!! I understand that road closures were outside of their control. My concern has always been the communication leading up to the event. Had we been told that pickup could not be guaranteed, we would have planned for that. Instead, we were told the service would still be possible, and it wasn't. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this company. Trust is one of the most important qualities in a transportation provider, especially on a wedding day. When a company assures you they can provide a service and then fails to do so, it's difficult to have confidence in them for such an important event.

What I appreciated most was that they are SUPER fast at communication and it's all done via text (which for a busy bride-to-be is truly ideal). I booked this as soon as I had confirmed our wedding date and I believe I owed a deposit (maybe $100?) I paid the rest the day of the wedding. Our driver showed up promptly and drove us girls to the church, then the whole party to the Botanical Gardens to take photos, then to the reception. For the amount of time we had him, it cost about $2,000 (which includes tip). The only constructive piece of feedback I have is that when we were inside the church (which was awhile because we had to get there around 12:30 and the ceremony didn't end until 2:30), the driver texted me and said "If you're okay with it, I'm gonna go and grab lunch." I obviously didn't see it when he sent it because I was getting married and all! But when we walked outside, I initially didn't see the bus. I looked at my phone and saw that text and my heart stopped. I was so scared that he left to grab something to eat when we needed him to get us to the Botanical Gardens ASAP! Luckily, my bridal party had asked him to drive behind the church so they could load the bus with drinks, so he wasn't far away. But all this to say that if a driver wants to grab something to eat, take a break, etc, they need to coordinate with the main contact ahead of time. There is no way me (or any other bride or groom) is going to text back. I would of course have told him yes had I known the timing--- it's just not a text I wanted to leave the church and see. Again, to be clear, he wasn't far away and the only reason he was not at the front of the church was because the bridal party had asked him to relocate for ease of transferring items. But it was certainly a 2 minute massive panic moment that (as you can see), I'm still not forgetting 6 months later. lol! But truly, I highly recommend Scottsdale Party Bus and have since seen their busses all over the city. Will always remind me of my special day!

They had plenty of water and ice on board and they greeted us with birthday balloons and a carpet for the birthday girl to enter the vehicle. There were only 10 of us along with a cooler that we brought and some food but it could've easily have accommodated 18 to 20. This business could not have been any easier to deal with.
