The students and community there are horrible, lots of fights and drugs, the teachers don't do much about it except maybe gard the bathroom. It has poor budgeting, our lunches are soggy pizza and wet bread while there building a whole other facility in the parking lot, I'm sure there are other reasons behind that but from a students perspective it's kinda sucky. If it's your only option it's not horrible but wouldn't recommend.

They claim to take things like stalking, assault, and bullying very seriously, but they don't actually. I'm autistic and a "weird kid", so I've faced a lot of bullying. Despite this, the school only did something about it one time. In 6th grade, I was sexually assaulted by another student (who still attends this school). Multiple teachers and students noticed, but nothing was done despite the reports from witnessing students. In 7th grade, me and my friends were stalked all year by my sexual assaulter. Despite the countless times we complained, nothing was ever done. As well as this, some teachers are not pleasant. In 6th & 7th grade, we had a gym teacher named Mr. Calhoon. MANY students reported him being a pedophile, but he didn't face a single consequence. There are many other teachers that are also just blatantly mean. There are also counts of discrimination against women and LGBTQIA+ people. Teachers frequently refuse to use a student's preferred pronouns. As well as this, nearly everything is gendered in some way without including non-men/women (there is only one gender neutral bathroom). I have been in both girls bathrooms and boys bathrooms, and I can say without a doubt that the girls bathrooms are incredibly worse. Every single girls bathroom doesn't have a working sink, the stalls open with enough pressure, they don't smell good, and are very dirty. The boys bathrooms do not have these problems. Along with this, there are stalls in the boys locker room and not in the girls locker room. Sometimes, the teachers also neglect students. Like I mentioned previously, I'm autistic. The teachers claim they don't tolerate loud classrooms, but they don't actually do anything when a classroom is loud. Today in physical education, we were forced to go outdoors in 100° weather. This school also has ridiculous rules. We have lunch during 3rd period. Before and after lunch, you aren't allowed to go to your locker to retrieve anything (such as a lunch from home). You might be thinking, "Oh, I can just bypass this!", but you can't. Today, I was yelled at for trying to go to my locker after lunch to put away my food. You aren't allowed to access your school iPads without permission, which makes things very difficult when you need to contact your parents via email. You aren't allowed to wear face paint because it's "racist". For example, one of my friends wore white face paint into school a few weeks ago. She was sent to the office and called racist. Do not send your child to this school if they are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or dress non-mainstream. They WILL get mistreated. I would give you an alternative, but I don't have a good one. The class sized are high however, 32 in his class. Field trips are good. My child has felt safe and not bullied. There is some diversity but not a lot. School has early start at 830 am and done by 240 pm. This appeals to working parents as most elementary schools begin at 920. This school also has some open enrolled students. There are a lot of PTO fundraisers but no pressure If you dont participate. If you live too close you have to pay for bussing. This school was built in 1970's and has a boiler heat system and my child wears t shirts in winter as a result. They are very aware of peanut and nut allergies here also.

This is my favorite, all the staff and teachers are really nice and appreciative:) they treat everyone VERY good, the principal is fun and nice as well as the other staff. I have been going to this school for 5 years and I love it. They don't have many sports options they only have basketball, cheerleading, soccer,volleyball. It's a small school but really nice :) they also have groups such as student Council, Spanish club, art club and a bunch more! GO HERE
