Valley Pool and Hot Tubs installed our pool more than 15 years ago. The installation went smoothly, and they have been opening and closing our pool ever since. In addition, they test our pool water on a nearly weekly basis in the summer. We have dealt with many of their staff and have always been impressed, especially with Cory. There is no substitute for experience when maintaining a pool, and Vally Pool has been doing this for decades. It is a family run business. Since it was closer, I used Leslie's on University Avenue in West Des Moines a few times, and it was a disaster. Leslie's was always trying to sell us something, and the staff was never consistent. Finally, I took the same water sample to Leslie's and Valley Pool. Leslie's tried to sell me several hundred dollars' worth of chemicals, while Cory at Valley Pool said to give the pool a few days, and do a retest. We didn't add (or buy) any chemicals, and a few days later the water was fine. My vote of confidence is based on 15+ years of working with this company. read more

Friendly and we're willing to go the extra in explaining what was best for our property. Micheal set up a kit and gave us specific printed out direction on how to take care of our first ever hot tub. It has been the perfect oasis for us. We seem to have no time for ourselves and this gives us the break we need and relaxing date nights we never get. No computers or phones to answer work calls just relaxing time for us to communicate. However, the grandkids think it's for them when they come to stay. We change the temp and let them play while the adults sit around the fire pit. This has been a perfect gift for us who never buy things for themselves. Valley pool and Hot Tub's doesn't do what they say they are going to do and they don't stand behind their work. We have had the worst experience working with them. It's been one mistake after another and they refuse to take any accountably. The management team is immature and not capable of dealing with problems.
