I installed a crappy (AO Smith) pressure tank from Lowes which failed in two days. Lead time for replacement... two weeks. Called Donnie, (super nice guy) and in under 6 hours I had clear water running again with a vastly superior tank! Our pump went out late in the afternoon. They were here first thing the next morning. They checked the operation and determined that it was probably the pump itself, it was 25 years old. It was in fact the pump and they had it replaced and finished in just a few hours. Another point was our pipe and wiring was still serviceable but they let us decide if we wanted to replace them now or take a chance on how long that they would last. Got home from an evening bike ride to find there was no water. I called the main number (after hours) and left a message. Within 20 minutes the owner (Donny) called back to let me know Adam would call early the next morning. Sure enough Adam called and was at the house by 6:15am. Adam quickly diagnosed the problem and identified the solution. Our tank and controls were no longer working. Adam replaced them the same day and our water is flowing beautifully again. We have a problem. When Phoenix is 100 degrees, so much electricity is used down there that there is a limiter on our well pump--and it will not et the pump start for fear of burning the motor . TODAY TUES, JUNE 28 , the pump was stopped way longer than usual. My wife Cheryl tried to call for pump repair. Several did not answer, some said "Leave a message" . The one star is for this company's representatives showing up on time for appointments. Other than that, I have to be quite honest when I say that my opinion is that this company should not be in business. Not only did the service technician flood my mechanical room when he came to replace a water filter, damaging framed art that was stored there, without telling me he had done this... But fast forward a year later when my house was in escrow and the required well report was ordered by my out of state seller, utilizing this company. Big mistake. The owner of the company stated to me that the well was bad, "a new well needed to be drilled". He also said that the water pressure tank in the home was faulty and gave a quote for almost $3,000 for repairs. There were other negative comments that were made about our property that I won't go into, but that were unnecessary and not related to what his job was. His negative perspective was shared with my buyer, and who most likely was not familiar with owning a property with a well. Needless to say, because of the owner of Valley Pumps negative report and the way he shared his skewed perspective, my understandably anxious buyer pulled out of escrow! I ordered a second well report with another contractor. The final report was similar in the water production of the well, however the well report was overall very favorable, as far as what the productivity of the well would be appropriate for, ie, even a family of four, no need to drill new well, etc. The second well report mentioned that lots of folks would be happy to have a well that produced the less-than optimum amount that our well produced. Second well report also indicated helps for a lower producing well that were optional. In addition, the second well and home pressure tank inspection indicated that it was NOT faulty and not needing an expensive repair! In summary, and in the end, another buyer came along just two days later and everything went very well. Second buyer had no concerns about the well report whatsoever! It's a small community and I know people need to earn a living, but the reason I am reporting this is so people will know what my experience was and to shop around! read more

Recently, Adam from valley pump inspected a well issue I had. Adam analyzed it, explained it, repaired it for a fair price and did a great job. A month later, the well lost pressure. Adam came out quickly and fixed a broken gizmo in the pump at no cost that was no fault of you. I highly recommend this company. read more

Labor Day morning 5 am. We woke to no water and I called Valley Pump and left a message at 5:30 AM. Knowing I would not get anyone I left my phone number and name. I got call from Donny an hour later and said that Adam would be calling and get out there. Adam sure enough called me about 15 min later and arrived an hour later, fixed in 30 minutes! Wow! This company is bias towards this area and need to move away. They did a well test on my property last Aug. They stated that my well produced a little under a gallon per minute. Keep in mind this is Aug and this is the 3rd driest monsoon season on record. My well test last Nov was 4.25 gallons per minute. Based on their report I lost a buyer because they didn't understand that the well still produces way more water per day than a family needs. I have a new buyer so they called them to discuss the well report. The buyer told us that the person he talked to at Valley Pump Service told him that all the wells in Prescott and Prescott Valley were crap and no one should buy any property here and they go elsewhere. As voiced in another review here they should shut up about their opinions. Anyone buying or selling a house should not use this Bias company. read more
