Dr.Steffan was amazing, she was empathetic, caring, understanding and knew how to manage my particular condition. The issue I have with this particular place is that I have a condition that I called and asked who specialized in and wanted to work with that Dr., made the appointment & got the ball rolling with her. What I didn't know was that if I didn't specifically say I wanted to ONLY be scheduled with her every time, they will schedule me with anyone. Sometimes another PT specialist but most times a PT assistant. And not everyone at this location provides the same level of care. I gave other specialists a try (multiple times) before asking the front desk to only schedule me with Dr. Steffan every time or let me know when she wasn't available so I can reschedule. Which to me this makes no sense, how can you determine if you're patient is doing better or not if you don't see them every week? It doesn't make sense. I've gone to PT at another location for my back before, this was the first time I experienced a rotating system like this. The only location assigned you the same person every time you went in for your appointment. The front staff is great & will make sure to accommodate your scheduling request so if you do find someone you prefer to work with just make sure you let them know or you will be rotated through different PT specialists & their assistants.

Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

I was given the choice of two clinics so I chose Tower Physical Therapy because I had heard good things about them. I called right away to make an appointment. Unfortunately the first available appointment was more than a month away, but I understood that they were busy, and was willing to wait. On the day of my appointment I arrived early to check in since there are always forms to complete for the first visit. The receptionist at the front desk took my name and told me that I did not have an appointment. She asked if my name was a totally different name, to which I replied it was not. She asked who I spoke to when I made the appointment. I didn't write down the name of the receptionist as I assumed it wouldn't be a issue. She went to the back to talk to the available PTs and returned a few minutes later (while calling me the wrong name) to inform me that I had missed my appointment which was scheduled that day, but two hours earlier. I know that I would not have scheduled an earlier appointment due to the fact that I was at work at that time. I informed her that I was told a different time (the time I had put in my calendar) and had repeated it to the woman I spoke to when scheduling, to confirm. The receptionist just reiterated that my appointment was earlier that day. The receptionist did say they could possibly fit me in if I was willing to wait, which I agreed to do. I gave her my insurance card and started to complete the necessary paperwork. While I filled out the forms, she started calling a male's name. Since there were two males in the waiting area with me, I assumed she was calling for one of them. Nope. She was reading the name on my insurance card which happened to be my husband's name. I realized what was happening and took my card back. I told her that was my husband's name, not my name. She made a comment stating that I didn't respond when she called my husband's name. He was not there with me and that is not my name so no, I didn't believe she was calling for me. In the meantime, a second woman came to the desk and began the task of verifying my insurance. She called me back to the desk after a few minutes and informed me that they do not accept my insurance. I left feeling very frustrated. Looking back there was another red flag about the whole fiasco. Usually a patient receives a phone call from the office or clinic to confirm the appointment. No one called me the day before to confirm my appointment. Not even for the time they claimed my appointment was scheduled. Very odd. While I totally understand that we are all human and everyone makes mistakes or errors, what disappointed me the most was how the receptionist handled the situation. It is a shame because while I've heard good things about the therapy staff, I would not consider going back, all because of that receptionist.

I've been having pain in my left elbow since 2007 took meds, Cortizone shots that only worked about 2 months Snd the pain was worse after! Come to find out my tendon was almost torn off the bone.... Met with Dr. and he explained the benefits of surgery and was very good at explaining procedure and was very thorough with answering all my questions, this is my elbow and with out it I would be out of business... I came down to Merced with some mental illness and some drug use going on someone offered me a line…read moreof fentanyl something I never done before I did it looked around and said thank you Jesus I should have just thank Dr Diaz and before I did it because I ended up in the emergency room screaming over the most extreme pain I've ever felt with my leg nothing else to move. I was told I had compartment syndrome and I might lose my leg and it looks like I was going to there was hardly a pulse they were looking at it and I haven't sat there for 3 days with no one doing anything finally at like 11:00 and 9:00 Dr Diaz came in or called and said he was ready to do surgery because he was going to save my leg. He did surgery he did a fasciotomy which is a horrendous surgery for the patient but the good part is those three giant incisions on my leg weren't even felt by me. But the pain was still there your pain. I sat in the hospital for a month and a half he did two more surgeries the last one he did this last Monday the day I was supposed to get out with the first set of close-up stitches in my leg. Because he did that surgery on Monday and put a half cast on and wrapped it when I was released on Wednesday second I got home I had the wheelchair and I had a walker I thought I'd be in a wheelchair cuz I hadn't been walking for a month and a half and was told that I need physical therapy I had to use a walker because of the living situation took it slow it was hard I was winded but I can walk on it because of his his procedure and how he put the cast on it only can I walk on it because I lost the use of the nerves in my leg I have drop foot that's why I needed this half cast. I was washing my face and hands in my bathroom and I went out to clean up my room because my dad was coming I wanted to look good because it's a room and board that he helped me pay for it and it started cleaning up and I was doing it without the Walker I didn't even realize it. It's like my leg was still there I got and after surgery slipper that I'm wearing but I still use my Walker and I know they're going to put a prosthetic piece or a certain piece on my leg so I can wear a shoe again and I'll be able to walk he saved my leg and I can walk I thought it'd take forever this man is my hero he's a wonderful surgeon he's polite he talked to my parents like he cared and when whatever worked out and it all worked out because of Doctor Diaz he's a wonderful surgeon polite just a wonderful man I want to thank him.

After everything healed up my lower back was killing me. My doctor referred me to Dr. Garcia. He had an x-ray done on my lower back and I found out that I have arthritis in my back. He did a steroid epidermal. Wow, my back feels better, no pain. I didn't realize that my lower back was affecting other things in me like my balance. I have been able to walk the same way I used to walk many years ago. I saw him again and he will be doing the steroid epidermal again. After that he plans on burning the nerves in my lower back and I will be pain-free forever. I love him.

Dr. Kris Madhu and the staff were very informative, and very patient with answering all of my questions (I'm my mom's caregiver). Dr. Kris Madhu has an angel like gift for caring for his patients. He is sincere in helping provide care, compassion and empathy. My mom and me felt heard, again the Dr. and staff were so patient in truly helping understand what my mom was going through. Turns out my mom has a hiatal hernia, is very anaemic, and has an ulceration. Dr. Kris Madhu carefully informed us of my mom's condition, walked through next steps (CT Scan) (medications) and scheduled a follow up visit. It's a blessing to know that Dr. Kris Madhu and the entire staff create a consistent professional and caring environment for patients and their caregivers. Just visited now and after an hour after my appointment time, I asked how much longer and they said they would text him to find out. The doctor wasn't even in the office! Furthermore, the colonoscopy was not in a very sterile room. This place is Ludacris!
