The sales team was great and easy to work with but after you have signed and purchased the problems start. The day after we received our brand new motorhome we found one of our storage doors broken and they took a look and said they needed to order a new one. Two months later and it is still broken and no status. Also if you need something fixed the wait times are extremely long sometimes over a month. If I had known that customer service would be so bad for crucial and basic items would have bought the same thing at another dealer. read more

I called the service center multiple times and left messages. Even left a message for the manager and owner stating I could not get a call back to schedule my rig for service and repair. I even went in and talked to someone about my concerns and no call back to address them. Finally I did receive a message about how much my repair would cost but again couldn't reach anyone for scheduling. So, when I'm ready to upgrade I will do it someplace else. We bought our 2019 Jayco trailer from Valley RV Super center earlier this spring. We were greeted by Brycen upon arrival. We went strictly to look at a certain model we had seen online. We had zero intention of purchasing that day or even possibly at all. We were very open with Brycen right away that we were just browsing. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. Well we ended up falling in love with the model and Brycen negotiated with us and the manager and we were able to get a fair price that we were comfortable with. There was no high pressure sales, only one or two back and forth and we were there! Brycen made it very simple and genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and happy with the purchase. We came back the next day and bought it! After the sale we had to wait for the trailer to be detailed etc, Brycen had us look over the trailer and if there was anything that wasn't up to par they would fix it. The whole process was very seamless. We kept saying 'wow I can't believe this has gone so smooth.' When picking up they had a service man named Wayne go over the entire trailer with us, all the electric, gas, tow everything to make sure we knew the ins and outs. He was very helpful too! Sep 2016 - We stopped by Valley RV Supercenter after literally being ignored or turned away by several of the nearby competitor lots and others a fair distance away. I can safely say we looked at the rest, before we purchased from the best! We worked with their sales staff for nearly two months and found our perfect RV: 2017 Jayco Melbourne 24M. Breland, never left any questions unanswered. As he transitioned from sales to service, he made certain we were handed over to Travis who was equally as knowledgeable. We were never faced with any imposing situations or pressure to make any decisions. They let us come back multiple times to look at several units, responded to numerous phone messages and countless emails. The care and effort spent to ensure we were happy is so refreshing. We purchased a brand new Jayco RV in 2020. The first RV we planned to purchase was vandalized the evening after we looked at it, so we upgraded to a more expensive RV. That should have been our first clue. In June 2022, we brought our RV in for minor service, and the catalytic converter was stolen while on their lot. Since they do not carry Garagekeepers insurance, we were on the hook for thousands of dollars. They are planning to install a new security fence at some point, but since the theft and vandalism has been going on for years, we think they should take responsibility or at least warn people to take their RV somewhere else for repairs due to the lack of adequate security. We were shocked that they take no responsibility for damage that occurs to RVs in their care. If you leave your RV with them, the bill could really add up, depending on the damage that occurs. They told us that this happened to several other RVs during the same time frame. If your RV is damaged, they will tell you to file a claim with your insurance policy, but if you have a deductible, insurance doesn't cover much, and your premiums will go through the roof. The staff at Valley RV is very nice, which is the only positive experience we've had. read more

I just had my second great service experience with the team at Valley. Brelin (?) in service listened clearly to my needs and timing of the repairs. They did the diagnostics and suggested a couple of solutions for each of the two problems I was having. Over the phone we selected an option for each problem, and the work got done on time and within the estimate they provided. I do not write reviews, but frankly I have never had such a negative experience. I requested the sales person to provide a quote on an RV. I gave him all the information he needed via email, but he kept calling me versus sending something in writing. I requested again that he send a quote to me via email. (Always get a quote in writing.) Finally he responded to my email only to quote the listed price, then he went on to tell me that I could make an offer if I would make a deposit via my credit card! If a company needs to have your credit card information in order for you to even make an offer...RUN! The four other dealers I contacted were happy to provide quotes without needing to charge my credit card first! read more

Horrible Services department. They don't follow through with anything. They say looked at my electric fireplace and fixed it. When I got home it still wasn't working. They had my RV 6 months over replacing minor items to be fixed. They over packed my wheel barrings now grease all down the sides of my RV. They were supposed to look at my roof only reason I know that they did because they left the roof dirty with muddy foot prints. They said it was fine. First time I took the trailer out. My bedroom in my RV was drenched. They now want to charge me hrly rate to look at it and fix it. Even thou it's been covered for 5 months and kept heated. They don't guarantee any work they've done or looked at. I refuse to take the trailer back to them. Why should a trailer have to go in every 6 months to be looked at. They don't document anything per Jayco on what was looked at. It's takes them 6 months to return the RV back to the owner. Worst RV place ever! Take it to Baydos they are amazing, great customer service, they guarantee all their work. Don't ever buy an RV from Valley RV in Kent. Or get it worked on serves staff are horrible. it's not just me I've heard it from other purchasers from Valley RV and the bad customer service for the service department. We give top marks to Valley RV in Kent, WA! We are new to RVing and having been on the road for over a month, called our brand's local shop to get the recommended travel trailer "tune up"; they were unable to get an appointment for us for 6 weeks!! While Valley RV doesn't carry our brand, they were incredibly understanding, and squeezed us into their packed service schedule to ensure we were traveling safely (packing wheel bearings, etc). Breland, the Service Writer, was exceptional. He ensured all the service was completed, and ahead of schedule. Plus, he was friendly, professional and helpful. My class C had a tire blow out while on I-90 which did over 5k in damage to my rig; it was fairly extensive. I towed my rig to Valley RV and met Matt. I had read the reviews and saw that the biggest issue seemed to be timeliness in getting parts from Jayco. I had a big trip planned with friends in 6 weeks and was concerned, because of the extent of the damage, that we would be able to roll with our friends on this trip. Matt said they could complete the work in time from the get go. Throughout the entire process, Matt was very communicative, professional and personable. When I got the call that my rig would be done earlier than promised I was very relieved. There were parts that Jayco no longer makes that the Valley RV team was able to fabricate and install so I would be safe on the road; I did not want to roll until the rig was 100% ready. I can't thank Matt enough for all he did to get me on the road again. It was the longest and best RV trip we ever took. Thanks again Matt and Valley RV! read more

After driving two hours, the experience was the equivalent to dealing with a pushy car lot! Our sales rep, Rick showed us a handful of new and used trailers struggling to even unlock storage compartments. They pushed us to fill out finance papers and appeared irretated when we wouldn't, even after being informed that we were already financing through our own credit union. Even at this, we still walked out with a purchase order for a new Jayco. During the long drive home we had more time to think this over. We decided to try another lot in Portland Oregon, the service approach was polar opposite. Needless to say, Portland got the sale. It's 2015,and it's time to learn up to date sales techniques. Just a suggestion, try a low pressure approach, give your clients room from time to time to discuss among each other, and lastly even at the end of your business day don't be in such a hurry to push customers out the door and lose a sale. Worst "RV buying" experience ever. I put that it quotations because we never even got to the part of looking at one. Right out the gate they told us what our trade-in is worth, which is low blue book, 50k below retail. We've done this enough to know that you're going to give us something in the middle. I'm not taking a 50k loss so you can make that money when you resell it. They didn't even find out if we have the ability to take a loss. Here's a good idea..show us your RVs, let us fall in love and then haggle out the details. Oh, and maybe in all the stupid questions they asked us, our names could have been on the list. read more

We purchased our jayco travel trailer from valley RV last summer. Our experience in buying this hardly used like new trailer was wonderful. The sales staff were all friendly and kind. The negotiating process was smooth and easy. We were able to pick the trailer up the following week in prestine condition. They noticed the microwave wasn't working and quickly replaced it at no charge and also included an outdoor grill. A year later we are off on a big trip. They are still providing excellent service. Any questions we have or help needed ( like how to light the stove pilot light or drain the winterizing fluids) they are more than helpful and accommodating. Thank you to Bob, an excellent and kind sales person, Billy, a knowledge and helpful service person, and Leslie in the parts area. I purchased my '16 Seneca from out of state and was hesitant I would not get good service at a dealership I didn't buy from. I'm very happy with these guys. I've put a lot of miles on my new RV and have had to take it in to Valley 3 times. People who complain about these guys being must have personal issues because I have always had great treatment. One time had to wait 6 days for a part to be ordered but they kept me up to date and most importantly fixed the issue. I wish I could give zero stars. Beware of this dealership! As soon as you drive off the lot you are on your own! Valley RV Supercenter does not stand behind their product. My $80,000 motorhome has never been right since I bought it a month ago. The only thing Valley RV did for me is give me Jayco's phone number and take up the issues with them. Totally unacceptable! They have TEXTED me a couple times to ask me how its going with Jayco...lol. Can you believe that? My motorhome is still in the shop where it has been for 3 weeks. So far Jayco has stepped up and paid the bills so far, no thanks to Valley RV. They even fired the salesman a week after we bought the coach. The salesman named Rick wrote me an e-mail asking if I could recommend there place for anyone looking for an RV and my response below. Bottom Line I called 10 different RV sales places and 9 out 10 provided free LP Gas tank covers and 10 out of 10 provided spare tire covers.... Please pay attention to their (Rick S) response (4th paragraph) My Response Hi Rick, although I am very satisfied with the trailer itself. I wrote fairly soon after the sale in regards to not being offered a Propane tank cover and a tire cover that I have found seems to be pretty standard in the industry...No one responded. I paid pretty much the full price for this trailer and would have thought something like that would have been thrown in. Having said this unless someone takes my concerns seriously I would not in good faith be able to recommend your place to anyone....Mainly because no one seemed to care about this after the sale! Valley RV Supercenter negative response below basically putting words into my mouth and calling me a liar. Hello Tim I recieved your email and would like to respond to what you had said in your email back to me. One you did not pay full price for the trailer, the retail price on it was $27,574.00 and we sold it to you for $23,812.00 which also included your walk through with a tech, detailed, lp tanks filled, battery and starter kit, which is another $895.00 you were never charged for. You were also told at that time that trailer did not come with LP tank covers. I'm sorry you feel the way you do regarding our dealership. But we did go over everything with you at the time of the sale and you seemed very happy with the trailer. My wife and I purchased a Jayco 25BH from Valley RV Supercenter in July 2017. Our saleswoman, Kristi was super responsive, easy to work with, and honest. She gave us a tour of a few travel trailers and we quickly decided which one would work best for our family. Thanks to straight forward pricing and honest communication with Kristi, the sales process went smoothly and we picked up the trailer within a few days. The guy who gave us an intro to the RV was very friendly and professional. So far we've taken two trips and have really enjoyed the Jayco 25BH. The first trip was dry camping and the second was with full hookups. There is definitely a big learning curve for newbies, but once you learn how to prep, winterize, de-winterize, and manage the hookups, it's a lot of fun and comfortable way to go glamping! The first night camping at Fort Flagler, we had 25mph winds with a lot of rain. We stayed dry and warm and the tenters next door had to pack up and leave the next day. Kristi has been very friendly, supportive, and patient with us after the sale. She has followed up with us to see how we're doing and also helped us resolve some issues that ended up being a user error while winterizing the trailer. She also offered to get the trailer fitted with a new truck, free of charge. The trailer itself is really nice, although there are some fit and finish issues with the small cosmetic stuff like the trim around doors and windows. The important stuff (electrical, gas, appliances) are all in good working order after two trips. Had troubles connecting the solar panels but the service dept which has been very helpful over the phone will take a look at it next time we bring it in for service. Sales and service so far have been excellent and I will continue to recommended Valley RV Supercenter to friends and family. read more

Valley RV in Kent has the worst Customer Service. They took 8 weeks to complete five warrant items and then lied and said the items were done over the phone. We drive 30 miles to pick up our trailer and when we arrive the items were not done. I will never recommend anyone to use them. The Service Manager Chris Nelson is one reason we will not return and tell others about our interactions with Chris. No employee from this company should treat customers the way Chris treated us. He treated us like we were stupid. read more

Screw me once, shame on you. Give you another chance and get screwed shame on me. My first experience was to get a top rear quarter on my Melbourne repaired where I was quoted $3600 which was authorized by my insurance but when I picked it up 8 weeks later, the price was now $4600. They did a great job in the back end of the shop but failed on the front end. I was reimbursed by my insurance in the end. My second experience was my stupid decision to have them sell it on consignment last October. They said they sell RVs all year long so I wasn't to be concerned (WRONG!). They had zero success in selling it by April (They had it listed $10000) They had removed the license plates telling me that they shouldn't have and Chuck said to wait and he would go into the container and look for them but came back and said they weren't there so he would get a trip permit for me and I should go to DOL and get new plates and they would reimburse me. The van was also missing the expensive mattress topper that was on the bed and another on that was for the divan. When I finally got it, the inside light was on so I shut it off and drove it home noticing that the gas gauge was lower than when I dropped it off but thought that was not a big deal. I didn't have an opportunity to look it over until 2 days later and the first thing was that the house batteries were dead so I pulled out the shore power cord and found that the plug end was damaged to the extent it wouldn't work. I called Chuck and he said to bring it in and they would replace it so I took it back and the service manager (he also said he was the owner) looked at it and accused me of dragging it down the freeway. I was getting upset and said that I hadn't taken my PTSD meds and was starting to blow up. He immediately walked away saying he was going to call the police whereby my wife intervened and cooler heads prevailed..I asked him where the mattress pieces were that I left and he said they were thrown away.I asked him if he checked the container and he said what container guess Chuck musthave been mistaken even though he was gone for 20 minutes looking fr my plates! Anyhow, they stole all of the eating utensils and towels and the outside carpet and the extended tire gauge and managed to put 150 miles on the odometer and fill the black water tank to 3/4 full. Cavaet Emptor!! I sold it last week at a good deal for me and the buyer. RV people give used car salesman a bad name. read more

He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences in construction among brands, etc. Unfortunately, they sold that one; however, I will continue to work with Randy. I own a 2015 Jayco purchased here a year ago, and have begun having water intrusion along the front causing delamination. I called in desperation requesting some assistance in getting it repaired or at least locating the point of entry. I was hoping for a repair estimate, but explained that I was willing to attempt a temporary seal if only they could provide some advice on where the water entry was and if trapping the water was a good idea. I was told that I could drop it off but it wouldn't be looked at for at least three weeks. I asked if it would be kept indoors and she said no. I explained that every rain makes the problem worse, and she said "We're swamped". I asked if they could recommend another repair shop, to which she replied "nobody will be less busy than us". I guess I'm expected to just watch my trailer warp and delaminate. I do not recommend Jayco travel trailers as their "Amish craftsmanship" is worse than a high school carpentry class. I definitely do not recommend purchasing a travel trailer from this RV center. read more

We live in the Portland/Vancouver area. I have spent the last 6 months researching and trying to find a good deal on a hardside pop-up camper. We were especially intrigued with the Jayco hardside series campers. I contacted Jayco for an online quote and was told a local Jayco dealer would get in contact with me. After waiting 8 days, and with no response from our local dealer, I contacted Jayco again. I explained that I was still waiting for a response from our local dealer. I finally received a call from the sales manager of the local dealer who apologized for the delay in contacting me. He assigned a sales person to contact me and I was contacted later that day. The sales person informed me there were no hardside models in stock but that a shipment would be received in 6 - 8 weeks. I indicated my desire to purchase one when they arrived. Let me say that everyone I communicated with at the local dealership seemed disineterested and were vague about answering my questions. The sales person in particular was not familiar with the product line. I understand that this is a new Jayco series but I expected a little more expertise or at least a desire from the sales person to do some research and get back to me. In stepped Breland Fox from Valley RV Supercenter in Kent, Washington. Jayco had contacted him about my desire in finding another Jayco dealership to assist me. Breland contacted my via email. He let me know he was available to help us if the local dealership could not meet our needs. At first, I was hesitant at dealing with a dealership that was 140 miles away, but decided to give them a try. The biggest factor in our decision to make our purchase at Valley RV Supercenter was the feeling that they were sincerely interested in earning our business. I was quoted a great price early in the negotiation process. Breland was cordial and answered any question I had about the unit I was purchasing and disclosed in detail all costs associated with the buying process. After deciding to buy our camper from Valley RV Supercenter, Breland set up an appointment for us to drive up to pick our camper up. I was already impressed with Breland, but this is where Valley RV Supercenter really shined! The buying process was well organized and the staff was exceptional. We met Breland who turned us over to Billy, one of their service technicians, who gave us a detailed overview and inspection of our unit. He was extremely knowledgeable with the unit and was patient in explaining the operation of all the different systems. He gave us several tips on making our camping experience more enjoyable. He is a great asset to the dealership. Next we went to Derek Smith, the Finance Manager, who completed the actual sale. He offered extended warranties and aftermarket treatments available to us. We found his presentation to be more informational than high pressure. The buying process went smoothly. Billy assisted us in hitching up our camper and we headed the 140 miles back home. I very seldom write reviews for any purchase. I wanted to convey to prospective customers of Valley RV Supercenter that the dealership exceeded our expectations and that our buying experience could not have been more pleasant. We interacted with other employees from the sales staff, service, and parts departments. Without exception, every employee treated us as if we were important to them. One of the things that impressed us most is that we bought one of the lowest priced units on the lot, but we were treated with the same respect as someone who had just purchased a high end motorhome. While this is early in the ownership process, I feel confident that any warranty issues will be dealt with in the same professional manner that the buying process was handled. If I could, I would rate their service department a zero as some others have stated! The service manager was rude and they are not interested in your business unless you purchased your RV from them. The general manager stated to me in April of 2016 that the amount of business from non buyers is insignificant to them. I have owned 4 Jayco's since 1991. Valley became a Jayco dealer when Watts RV in Kent went out of business. After that happened I purchased parts and had service performed on my previous units by Valley RV when it was located in Auburn. However, when I took my new 2015 Jayco in for service (November 7, 2014) at the Kent location the service manager came out to look at my unit as I don't think they had any 2015 Eagle Premiers on the lot. He asked if I had purchased it from them and I told him Valley and I could not agree on a price so I purchased it in a different state. Valley wanted thousands more than the dealer I purchased from (much more than the difference in transportation costs). He then rudely told me I should take it back to the dealer where I purchased it to get the items repaired under waranty. He knew this was unlikely and then he said I was lucky that they would do the work at all because other Jayco dealers in the state would not work on units not purchased at their respective dealerships. I now know this is not true. If you take your unit in for service at Valley you must leave it there even if they don't think they will get to it for weeks! If you have camping reservations somewhere and pick up your RV before they get to it then bring it back they put you back at the bottom of the list and your wait starts all over again. Three times I have called and inquired about how long a wait for service and was told it would take about three weeks to complete the service. In two of those instances when I dropped off my RV the service manager saw me and knowing I did not purchase from them he came out and told me that it would take about twice as long to get the work done then I had been quoted over the phone. The one time he was not there I got my RV back in the three weeks as stated. The first time I took my trailer in was on November 7, 2014 and it was not "released" to the shop for work for 6 weeks (December22)! I was finally able to pick up my RV January 30th. They had my RV 12 weeks! The last time I took my RV in was in early April of 2016. I was again told when I called that it would take about three weeks. When I dropped it off the service manager saw me, came out and said it would take 5-6 weeks. I had basically one item, a non working fireplace, to be fixed under warranty. I called after 3 weeks and a lady in the service department told me she could not locate my paperwork but thought my RV was in the shop and to call back Monday and speak with my service rep who was not in that day. I called on Monday, and was told that it was not my unit and there were 20-25 units ahead of mine. They had my unit for 24 days and there were still 20-25 units ahead of it! It is obvious they just play games and are not committed to customer service. I picked up my RV and happily had the work done elsewhere. If you want to buy a Jayco, buy from any other dealer. If you need service why would you want to take your RV to Valley RV and have it sit on their lot out of your control for who knows how long and where your unit may get damaged (per other reviews). read more
