They never stay open till the time posted. After a long day of work , I wanted to purchase some beverages and got there at 8pm on a Friday. They were closed .The store time to close is 9pm. Ok I let that go... I know better next time right... silly me ... I'll come Earlier ... Got there on another weekend at 6;30 pm... and you guessed it... they were closed. Super large. I was amazed as I steered my shopping cart to keep seeing more and more space and shelves of drinkeys as I went further in. On this day, 2016 thanksgiving eve, the place was a bit crowed as expected, not sure if this is a regular thing on a Wednesday evening. Prices seemed a bit steep in comparison to other liquor stores in Valley Stream. There was a wine tasting station manned by a very beautiful young woman, well played Mr. Owner, well played. Even I bought a bottle from her because... well... she was so gothdarn cute! The only sore spot on this trip was the fight between co-workers. The cashier shooooore cursed that man out in some heavy Guyanese twang and words. Not sure if others got what she was saying, but I cringed a few times and even I cannot repeat what was said. Horrible customer service and don't you dare be a woman trying to purchase. These Indian men are terribly rude! Talk over you and are incompetent of any level of meeting in the middle. Mistakes happened during my Drizly order but they fixed it being it was Drizly error. Tell me why these morons tried to hold my champagne hostage and when I called, he simply shouted while I had Drizly on 3way LOL!!! Drizly just gave me a discount on my next order because the goofs rather yell at women than help assist the purchase. I will NEVER buy here. Rather Green Acres or ANY WHERE ELSE. Need to change the closing time online to reflect 10pm not 11!!!! Don't rush your customers to make a selection especially when they have arrived way before the store hours posted online. (arrived 9:44pm) Closing at 10 means doors close at 10! If customers are inside, you must wait until they have made their selection! We are paying customers! MAN OH MAN if I could post pictures on here of my friends and I getting silly in this store, I would. Well, I can, and I might, but I have to think about it. Love this liquor store. They always have the best recommendations when I need a nice riesling or merlot. Best prices in the area by far and they always have specials and sales going on, not to mention free wine and liquor tastings on the weekends. There are closer spots near me but I always drive the extra mile to Central Ave just to go here. read more

I absolutely love this store!! They have a HUGE selection and there is a former sommelier on staff. I have learned a lot from him and he always makes great suggestions. I was not pleased with their prosecco selection and made a request. They placed an order for me and now every time I go they have my Cupcake prosecco. They also never miss an opportunity to poke fun. Stay away from this place before any major Holiday. They raises the prices over 200% for anything. Charged me $61 New years eve for a bottle of Rose. Too many choices, Bad parking, and over charging. read more

They just redid the store looks very clean and fresh while maintining a similar layout as originally with the main exception being in the back right of the store where they keep most of the wine, feels larger in the back now like they have more product out. read more
