BUYER BEWARE No…read morestars if that were an option. A family friend purchased $497 worth of beef ribs from this butcher for our Memorial Day BBQ. He bought them and brought them directly to our house, on ice, to keep in our freezer for my husband to cook this past weekend. Well, upon opening the vacuum seal, there was a smell worse than any fish market. Sometimes when meats are packaged this way, the gas gets trapped and it's stinky upon opening. My husband trimmed the fat, rinsed the meat, and we let it sit in our fridge, hoping the smell would go away. It, unfortunately, did not. We had our neighbors come over and smell the ribs, just to make sure we weren't going crazy. They agreed, the meat was bad. My husband wrapped the meat back up and tossed it in the freezer so it would stop stinking up our house and could be returned. Our friend brought the meat back to the butcher today and they kept the meat, but refused to give him a refund! One package was not even opened, they apparently refused to open it, and I bet they turn around and sell it to someone else. We looked this place up on Google after notifying our friend the meat was bad. Turns out they have a reputation of selling spoiled beef ribs and not refunding their customers. Nothing is cheap these days but taste is something most people would pay a little extra for so this place is well worth it if you are preparing a special dinner.

We almost walked out, but we waited for our food which was good...for the most part. But you could tell that the sausage got left in too long and sucked up quite a bit of dirty smoke. If you don't want to be heckled when you go out, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.

First of all if you go a saturday or sunday 3-7pm you would most likely find a waiting line of up to an 1hr, the food is that good. There is a salad bar with all types of sides: potatoes, cold pasta salads, rice, breads, even wings, spaghetti, etc I can't remember all of them but its varied, you have a lot of options but be careful not to get full on the sides and vegetables because they're really good but you still have to wait on the main course. The waiters/caters come table to table with their different meat cuts and they serve them on your plate, they're not cold, they meat is on a ESPADA (sword) that comes right out of the flames, sometimes it's sizzling still. You can tell them to bring a special meat that you like as many times you want, and you can stay there at the restaurant as much as your stomach allows you, it's a buffet but instead of you going to serve yourself, the waiters bring the meat to you, my personal favorite CHISTORRA (it's a chorizo like meat with a salty and porky flavor). They have a variety of drinks but the wine options in here are the main thing, make sure to ask for your favorite wine they probably have it. So if you're feeling really hungry for meat i mean A LOT of meat, stop by Espadas and have a bite, or 2...... or 30. The attention is good and they take credit cards and cash USD dollars. And there also a menu for deserts if you still are craving something sweet (but these are paid separately), I usually just take the grilled pineapple with cinnamon that comes in a sword as well, DELICIOUS!
