My son was one of the older and more skilled kids but he still got to work on his game and it helped get some of the rust off after a long lay off from basketball and traveling over the summer. My son also does the Shepherd Sports basketball camp but that has more kids and so less reps. I would highly recommend this camp if you want less kids and more reps.

There was a feeling of comradery and friendship in the parents and their families who were willing to make the best of the overcrowded facility for the sake of the kids. The school did a fantastic job in their performance. and from what I hear have great teachers such as Mrs. Baird who teach the kids the life skills that will keep them organized and help them to achieve success early on so they are better prepared for junior high and beyond.

Because of that he has been the target of neglect and unjust treatment from teachers and staff. Example A he fell off the play structure, nobody "they have yard duty staff specifically for outside time" seen and I had to get an idea of what happened from other 5 year olds who seen as well as take him to the hospital to be sure he didn't break anything. Example B he cut his hair in class, instead of pulling him aside and talking to him, letting him know what kind of trouble he was in, they used him as an example. Making him a target of public humiliation and a target for bullying from the other children who obviously will take the authorities lead. I know this happened because my son is articulate and explained what happened. I have never had any problems with him anywhere, I fact he was usually complimented. When I talked to his teacher, she insulted me stating that I do my own thing and let him do his own thing. I could not be more pleased with all the teachers more kids had. They truly care about each student. The communication is great, and I have not had a problem in my 10 years at Hollow Hills. This has to be the best elementary school in Simi Valley. They focus not only on academics but also the arts. They have a strong ceramics program and the Great Works of Art program is phenomenal. Both are funded and run by the most involved PTA I have ever seen. The PTA goes above and beyond for each student. The commitment of these parents and the teachers is what sets this school apart from every other school in Simi Valley.
