This is a 100 year old historic hotel and the owner is in the process of renovating it. We stayed in the top suite which was huge. There are 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. This was an incredibly memorable stay and such a delightful change from a sterile hotel chain. Because it is so old the original yellow pine hardwood floors slant and creak like a well loved home. You have to walk up 2 flights of stairs but the very friendly staff will help you if you need it. If you like sterile, bland hotels this place is not for you, but if you appreciate old historic places with character you're in for a treat. We rented through AirBnB and there were plenty of supplies (coffee, popcorn, candy, sodas, paper towels and dish soap, bathroom supplies (just bring your own hair dryer), and the beds were extremely comfortable. In 3 days we became attached and hated to leave. read more
