It depends what your needs are. These are decent apartments and they seem to try their best to…read morekeep a handle on the residents. There have been times I've been inside and questioned in my mind what some people are up to but for the most part pretty decent. There is not much in the area really and the big stores are a good drive away so you will need a car or transportation service to get there. It is a peaceful location and the view of the water is nice. The community room is typically quite busy with people doing puzzles, reading, watching tv so I appreciate that they have active residents.

The…read moreBedroom alone is HUGE with 2 closets and the large window overlooked the beautiful Minnesota River and we could see the waterfalls too! It easily fit our King-size bed and furniture with plenty of closet space and we were pleasantly surprised to find an attached bathroom with a large closet as well! the kitchen wasn't all that large but had a opening that looked out into the living room which also had a very large window overlooking the Minnesota River. I noticed that our building is basically right on the beach so to speak and the grounds is in a park like setting, filled with picnic tables and a couple of BBQ pits for those who would like to cook outdoors. The RiverView Apartments is Both pet and Handicapped friendly (as I have to use a wheelchair much of the time and we do have a small sometimes "shy" dog.) And when we first moved to the area, the first folks we met where Terri Garcia the Manager of the complex, Dave, the maintenance man (he had to change a lightbulb and he came within minutes!!!) and Jennifer, Terri's daughter, a bubbily, cheerfull lady bursting with all sorts of information us newcomers need to know. All three of them made my husband and I so welcome and have been so approachable for any question we have had for them even if it's been after hours. I must say, so far, these apartments have been in the best condition, and have been very well managed and loved by some very, very nice down to earth folks. and for them, Craig and I (Dianne Edgett) are very grateful.
