So we asked a helpful employee who was more specific and, thankfully, encouraging about walking the short distance. Like many Europeans, he measured the distance in "walking minutes" very accurately. It is super clean and the signage, while helpful, wasn't great. Many folks apparently arranged for shuttles. We did meet one seemingly unscrupulous taxi driver parked 50 yards up the street from the entrance. He offered to take us for way more than a fair price, was pushy and weird, and did not get our business.

As you may know, my husband and I are in the music industry and attend many live concerts. Often globally if possible, and most likely Jazz. The original classical music of America. Bathrooms were very clean despite a crowd of 10,000 bravo It was so cool to see the staff were also enjoying the event. Merel van Dort from The Slaak recommended the Rotterdam Marriott, and even offered to cover the difference in rate. Bonus point #1 to Merel for having done this! I then began working with Demi Vevat at the Rottderdam Marriott, who managed the transition seamlessly. We had a few last minute cancellations, which she also graciously allowed us to cancel. From working with Demi, to checking in, to our overall experience, I have to say the customer service at this hotel is as good as it gets! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! Shout out also to Olaf, who was a gem to work with! The rooms were spacious and clean, the Concierge Lounge had a great breakfast and evening snacks. We had a couple of meetings in there that afforded us a quiet spot to meet. The proximity to the train station is PERFECT, and the ability to walk to many places is easy. I would definitely stay at this property again! Thank you again to both Olaf and Demi!!
