Just moved here from Vegas and had to get my baby all setup on heart worm and flea preventatives. This office is great and are equipped to deal with any dog. My dog is reactive with other dogs and has bad anxiety and they were wonderful with him. Very affordable prices as well, office is immaculate. I absolutely love this vet clinic for my growing GS, Dexter. Just went in for his second check up and once again I was blown away by the efficiency, kindness and thoroughness of the staff. I haven't had to wait once. They greet me when I walk in the door and take me and my puppy directly back into the room. Great bedside manner, take plenty of time and ask me if I have any questions or concerns!!! They even dealt with his bad attitude and sharp Gs puppy teeth as they cut his nails. Beyond organized and caring. I've had two other dogs and multiple vet offices. But every employee here just goes above and beyond for me and my dog. I even stalled outside and Cindy offered to jump start my car. #not all heroes wear capes. Lol. read more

I switched to VDAC 2 years ago after unfortunate changes at my previous vet's office. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner. The level of friendliness, competency and efficiency is unparalleled in my lengthy experience with vet visits. My dog is tense around other animals and they great us at the door, weigh her, and place us in an exam room without issues every time. We have two cats and a senior Shiba Inu. We took our senior Shina Inu to Van Dyke animal hospital for two different visits. On both visits, we found the vet to not be very friendly or overly concerned with giving our Shiba the best care in general. They also didn't know about our breed and I found myself educating them on what is normal v. not normal for a Shiba. Overall, the vet didn't seem engaged nor all that helpful. We are looking elsewhere. We have an awesome Cat Clinic for our cats and will be looking for somewhere just as helpful and informative for our Shiba. The staff is very nice...the vet is not. read more

So took my dog here to have her spade, everything seemed ok, dog came home rested all afternoon and was monitored the whole time never being left along to access her incisions. She got up and walked a couple of feet and we notice blood coming from her abdomen. What you see in the photo only tells part of the story, a towel was used to stop the bleeding and was extremely saturated with blood. We rushed her to the Vet ER where the bleeding continued all over the place and they had to wrap her up like you see in the attached photo. The ER had her monitored overnight and we called Van Dyke the next day at noon to find the vet absolved her self and practice from any wrong doing and did not even offer an apology or call me, but had the front desk lady call me to give me the news. I will ensure no one I know ever uses this vet ever again as there is no personal accountability for her actions, no remorse for the condition to which my pet was placed. I originally thought this Vet held herself to a higher standard and truly cared about every aspect of her practice but this incident has clearly shown me this vet has two side to her professionalism. And now an update my dog underwent 2 hours of surgery to repair the damage this vet did to my dog. read more

Pros: Close proximity to where I live. Clean facility. Smells nice in the building. And by clean, I mean there isn't hair or other remnants on the floor from the previous pet. Staff were very nice. Cost for services was reasonable. Cons: I didn't really identify any. This was my first time at this clinc. They were thorough and made sure my pup was in good shape and up to date on all her shots. I was very pleased going to the Van Dyke Animal Clinic this afternoon. I liked that they had separate areas for cats and dogs and the team was very helpful and efficient. The examination room was clean. The veterinary assistant was extremely helpful in getting my very nervous cat through the examination. The doctor was helpful by laying out my options without trying to push buying things my cat did not need. It looks like I have found a new veterinarian!! read more

My main reason for coming here in the first place was its close proximity to my home. But I'm really glad that I did, because I find this animal clinic to be great! The Dr and the staff are very attentive, personal and caring. The facility is incredibly clean and organized, more than I can say for most other vet offices I've been to. They take the time to address your concerns and you don't feel rushed. I'd recommend taking your pets here for the best care. read more

This is a very helpful and friendly animal clinic. My dog was sick so I brought her in to see the doctor. It turned out to be nothing; the dog just got into something she shouldn't have. When I went to pick her up, I expected a huge bill with lots of tests on it. It wasn't nearly what I expected. Many other vets would have easily added on plenty of unnecessary tests and procedures to pad the bill. I truly appreciate not being taken advantage of at a vet because, let's face it, I'll do anything for my baby. read more
